Reflections Upon Publication
The third book is now released, and judging from the reviews, it seems like it will fare better than the second one. This time, I've learned my lesson: in short, I will focus on writing about the game itself and minimize anything unrelated. For a novel centered on gaming or e-sports, the game must always take center stage.
As for the general outline of this book, my editor mentioned that game-centric novels are, in essence, fanfiction. Therefore, it's important to interact with well-known figures in the gaming community, such as streamers and professional players. Thus, the streamers who appear in this story, whose rage points the protagonist collects, are all more or less inspired by real-life personalities.
In future developments, the protagonist will go professional, which can be seen as a growth arc. That part will be written later on; I also plan to watch more KPL professional matches to better understand the competitive side of things. For now, I'll continue to write about the streamer community, with which I'm more familiar.
Finally, thank you all for your support and encouragement. I will keep working hard and strive to update more frequently!
P.S.: The first chapter after the release—namely the first subscription—is an important indicator for the author. I hope you can support it! Thank you!
