As Lin Yu pressed the remote control.

Elsewhere,

At TPC.

All members of the Victory Team, including Director Keiyo Ijima, gathered around the screen to watch.

“Look! The captain is coming out!”

“Look!”

Seeing Keiyo Ijima appear on the big screen, Da Gu and the others immediately focused their attention there.

Munakata also watched intently. Having admired Keiyo Ijima for years, he couldn’t help but notice every detail about her.

Watching the valiant Keiyo on the television, Munakata first sighed at the captain’s beauty, then noticed the collar she had worn around her neck was gone.

“It seems the captain’s injury has healed!”

While pleased, Munakata continued to observe Keiyo closely. Suddenly, he noticed a flush on her cheeks.

Moreover, he sensed that Keiyo’s body on the screen was trembling slightly.

“Is the captain feeling unwell?”

Concerned for her health, Munakata resolved to urge her to take better care of herself and get ample rest once she returned, reminding her not to push herself just for the sake of appearing on television.

At that moment, Lin Yu picked up the remote and aimed it at the TV.

As a higher life form, transmitting signals across great distances was effortless for him.

At TPC.

Munakata saw the broadcast suddenly pause, with Keiyo covering her mouth, confirming that she was indeed feeling unwell.

“She’s sick already.”

“Captain seems to have some problem—not only is her face very red, she keeps covering her mouth!”

“Looks like she’s been overworking herself lately!”

The Victory Team members noticed their captain’s discomfort and worried about her health.

Lina, also a woman, watched Keiyo on the screen with a hint of doubt.

She felt Keiyo’s condition didn’t quite seem like a physical ailment but perhaps caused by something else…

Though suspicious, Lina still trusted Keiyo; the captain, now TPC director and unmarried, wouldn’t possibly be involved in anything inappropriate.

Yet Lina instinctively kept a close eye on Keiyo’s state.

As time passed, Lina noticed Keiyo’s voice trembling, deepening her concern.

Was the captain truly ill?

Just then, the interview ended. Keiyo politely bid farewell to the host, but as she stood up, she seemed physically weak and didn’t rise immediately.

Seeing this, the team immediately resolved to persuade the captain not to overexert herself.

Munakata grew even more determined to help share the TPC’s burdens so she wouldn’t have to work so hard.

Lina’s beautiful eyes reflected suspicion—was the captain really faint from exhaustion?

At the TV station.

After the interview, Keiyo forced herself to endure her discomfort and went to a private lounge, needing to attend to matters related to Lin Yu.

In Lin Yu’s office.

The phone notification sounded. Lin Yu picked up his phone and smiled at the photo displayed.

He casually tossed the phone beside the sofa.

At that moment, Maya, standing opposite Lin Yu, glanced at the phone photo on the sofa.

Seeing the woman in the photo—the appearance and posture—Maya’s eyes widened significantly.

Because of Lin Yu’s request, she had learned about popular internet memes, including the recent trend called “A-something Black” and something about “Yan.”

That woman was the one she had just seen—not a TPC member…

To think such a high-ranking woman would behave so submissively before Lord Lin Yu.

Maya, who had initially felt some humiliation, now felt a strange sense of balance upon realizing a woman of even higher status shared her predicament.

Her arrogance grew.

“What’s a TPC director? She still has to call me ‘sister.’”

Monsters naturally worship strength, especially someone like Maya, a special human with monstrous consciousness, who wholeheartedly accepted this law.

Seeing a higher-ranking woman in the same situation only boosted Maya’s sense of superiority.

Emboldened by this, Maya grew even more excited.

---

The beautiful day passed quickly.

That evening, after finishing his work, Lin Yu sent Maya off.

As Maya left the office, a woman who had been on a business trip noticed her passing and her gaze grew strange.

She felt that during Maya’s absence, her figure had become more voluptuous.

“I’ll have to ask her for tips sometime!”

Determined, the woman looked at her own slender frame.

After Maya left, Lin Yu began preparing for his main task.

He started to contemplate his next plan.

First, Lin Yu clarified his objective.

He intended to fully hatch Haipajeton.

In this world of Ultramen and monsters, as a representative of the evil faction, he needed a far more powerful force.

Possessing Haipajeton meant that, as long as he avoided the mysterious Four Ultra Warriors, he would face no danger in the Ultraman world.

For his own safety, he absolutely had to hatch Haipajeton.

Having set his goal, Lin Yu then mapped out the direction of his plan.

Given that Haipajeton’s incubation had only increased by 5% within TPC, rather than struggling to kill monsters, it was better to instill fear and despair in humanity.

Hence, Lin Yu aimed to create an event terrifying enough to unsettle all omnipotent beings.

With the goal and direction set, Lin Yu laid out his strategic cards.

First were the three one-minute Haipajeton experience cards he had just acquired.

This powerful monster, second only to the mysterious Four Ultra Warriors, was one of Lin Yu’s key tools to spread fear among humanity.

Second, he had previously gained a skill—Mental Illusion!

This skill allowed him to summon a one-minute peak-level Rebrondo alien.

These two formidable monsters, among the universe’s apex, were Lin Yu’s means to instill terror.

His next step was to maximize the impact of these assets.

But with only four minutes of combined power, how could he make this event spread worldwide?

As Lin Yu pondered this, elsewhere,

In an interdimensional space,

Hundreds of spiritual beings worshipped an enormous monster phantom.

Leading them was a woman.

As the massive beast roared, a wave of mental energy swept through the hundreds of spirits below.

Hearing the roar, the female leader smiled joyfully and addressed the gathered spirits:

“The great Kirielod God is about to awaken. Soon the entire world will belong to the Kirielod!”

At her words, the spirits erupted in cheers.

Yet standing on the stage, the female Kirielod leader silently repented.

When the Kirielod God decreed they should avoid provoking monster controllers, she thought the great god was cowardly—but it turned out they had been waiting here all along!

“The great Kirielod God has commanded: in three days, the deity will fully descend upon Earth!”

“In these three days, we shall announce this to humanity. This time, the great Kirielod people demand the whole world’s attention!”

“In three days, under the watchful eyes of all humanity, Diga and that monster controller will be utterly annihilated!”

Her voice echoed throughout the interdimensional space, stirring the spirits into excited shouts.

Then, the massive monster on stage roared again, and a ball of purple flame burst into being before them.

From the flames emerged a middle-aged man with slicked-back hair.

“Prophet, sir!”

The female Kirielod, eyes shining with excitement, knew the god could never be defeated.

The great Kirielod would ultimately rule the world.

Revived, the prophet raised his hands and shouted to the spirits below:

“Brothers and sisters, in three days, by any means, shift all the world’s attention to Tokyo!”

“In three days, our great Kirielod God will sink Tokyo! Diga and the monster controller will perish, announcing our Kirielod’s might!”

“Yes!”

“Good!”

The Kirielod spirits below were thrilled, eager to act immediately.

Watching their excitement, the prophet waved and commanded:

“Go forth, brothers and sisters, and begin the operation anew!”

Under his command, the hundreds of Kirielod spirits transformed into beams of light, flying beyond Earth.

The prophet looked toward their departing direction, then back at the roaring giant beast behind him, hatred gleaming in his eyes.

“Monster controller, wait—your death comes in three days!”

He laughed heartily at the thought of the monster controller’s demise.

His laughter echoed endlessly through the interdimensional space.

---

Time passed swiftly.

After thinking all night, Lin Yu finally had a preliminary plan.

He intended to create a meteor event over Tokyo and announce an apocalypse.

Today, he planned to send Evil Diga into outer space to scout for a suitable meteor.

Just then, Lin Yu felt the ground tremble. A strong mental force made him realize the cause.

Several meteors were falling from the sky.

Using his mental power, Lin Yu sensed a meteor descending tens of thousands of meters away.

From his sensing, the meteor seemed to be formed from concentrated flames, not a natural occurrence.

“Could it be the Kirielod’s power?”

What was happening?

With curiosity, Lin Yu checked his phone, which suddenly flooded with urgent messages.

The messages indicated that similar events were occurring worldwide.

Meteors were striking the earth simultaneously across the globe.

Boom!

Outside the window, a tremendous roar accompanied a meteor impact.

Within a 10-kilometer radius centered on the meteor, flames ravaged everything.

Fortunately, Lin Yu’s residence was spared; despite its proximity, the blast did not reach there.

His company was a rare oasis amid the devastation.

Employees watched the destruction outside, feeling both fear and relief.

Though unsure why their homes survived, they were grateful to be alive.

Similar attacks continued worldwide.

Though Haipajeton’s egg remained in the monster realm, having evolved into a higher life form, it still automatically absorbed external fear energy.

Previously, its incubation increased by 0.01 daily.

Just now, Lin Yu’s system notified him that the incubation had risen by another 3%.

Haipajeton’s incubation had reached 13%.

Moreover, the fear energy continued to rise, far from peaking.

“The Kirielod are making quite a commotion. But this is good for me!”

Though Lin Yu didn’t understand the Kirielod’s motives today, seeing Haipajeton’s incubation rate climb steadily, he silently thanked their actions.

There was no need for him to act—the collective fear of all humanity rose automatically.

At that moment, a knock sounded.

It was Maya.

“Master, thank you for protecting me!”

Upon receiving the order, Maya immediately rushed into Lin Yu’s arms.

Seeing the ruins outside, she knew Lin Yu had shielded her, making her aware of the world’s dangers.

Originally submissive to Lin Yu due to pleasure, Maya now felt genuine gratitude.

As always, monsters naturally worship the strong.

Filled with gratitude and desire, Maya was less restrained in his embrace.

Lin Yu was about to stop her, needing to investigate what had happened.

Just then, he recalled the contact he had given Keiyo Ijima.

Upon answering, Keiyo’s angry voice came through:

“What are you doing? Didn’t you promise me no large-scale slaughter of humans? What is this?”

Lin Yu was speechless.

Though his plan last night did involve some of this, his bottom line was never to kill humans without cause.

But now, there was cause.

Still, he thought, I haven’t done anything!

“Captain Ijima, watch your tone! This isn’t my doing. Your accusations anger me!”

Keiyo didn’t believe him.

To her, only Lin Yu could possibly have orchestrated this.

No one else had the capability.
