“What is that injured monster trying to do? Is it attempting to communicate with Melba? Asking Melba to heal it?” New City speculated while watching the footage, convinced that monsters mostly operated as a group.
Yet, the monster expert Juejing sensed something was amiss. He felt the injured monster seemed to be gathering energy.
“Yarui, is that injured monster actually gathering energy?”
Faced with Juejing’s question, Yarui examined the satellite data and responded with surprise, “That’s right. The energy within that injured monster’s body is steadily rising!”
“Gathering energy? Is that monster really trying to confront Melba? Aren’t they all monsters? And that one’s almost dead—can it really stand against Melba?” Lina asked doubtfully.
