Su Ming did not stop his stride. Those who had been hiding in the corners emerged one by one, their eyes filled with awe and gratitude as they looked at his retreating figure, having survived the ordeal. Among them, several young women were utterly smitten. "He's so handsome..." "A god-like man! I never expected to encounter such a perfect man in my lifetime!"

"Even if I had died just now, I would have had no regrets!"

"If this weren't happening right before my eyes, I would have thought I was dreaming or watching a movie!"

"I am completely captivated by him, I..." One girl blushed, lowering her head and crossing her legs, unsure if it was out of fear or something else.

Elsewhere, Su Ming had reached the entrance of the banquet hall, turning away as if to vanish. Lin Ruoxue finally summoned the courage to chase after him. "My name is Lin Ruoxue, what's yours..." She had finally found the resolve! Yet, Su Ming did not look back, his figure disappearing from her sight.

*My God! What has come over me?* Lin Ruoxue snapped to her senses, covering her mouth in disbelief. She, the president of Jun Tianxia, the queen who dominated the business world, had actually taken the initiative to strike up a conversation! Even though he had saved her, he didn't have to be so cold and arrogant!

"I clearly... mustered the courage to ask your name, why..." "Why did you ignore me..." A look of disappointment flickered across her exquisite face.

Just then, a crowd of bodyguards rushed over, accompanied by law enforcement officers forming a tight perimeter. "Miss Lin, please come with us to be relocated!"

"We are from the Cross Association, here specifically to ensure your safety. Come with us!"

David stepped forward, speaking with great solemnity. They had also just emerged from a fierce battle against the mysterious Inada Group of the Sakura Kingdom and their Black Samurai! It had been a struggle to break through.

Lin Ruoxue nodded, glancing back once more at the direction the masked man had departed, before turning to follow David and his men, carving a path through the carnage.

Meanwhile, the Shadow Black Samurai withdrew his blade and wiped away the blood. Steward Jin had slumped over, kneeling on the ground, his blood pooling and staining the floor beneath his chest.

"Old ghost, you wasted my time. You should have died sooner!" The Shadow Black Samurai sneered, turning to rendezvous with the Black Widow.

"Don't waste my time either. Be sensible—either do it yourself, or I'll help you!"

Suddenly, a cold, ghostly voice drifted from behind him. The Shadow Black Samurai turned with cold indifference, only to see another masked figure standing there!

"Heh... another one here to throw his life away. What a nuisance!"

"But compared to that old ghost, killing you will be even easier!"

The Shadow Black Samurai lunged forward, moving with the speed of a black panther. His samurai sword whipped up a storm of cold light, engulfing the space around him. Su Ming retreated and dodged, his movements agile. He evaded the strikes over a dozen times, but the blade still grazed his collar, missing his neck by less than three inches. A button from his shirt snapped off and fell to the floor!

"Not bad, kid!"

"You're just barely qualified to die by my hand!"

"Heh, I'll send you on your way!"

Although the Shadow Black Samurai spoke with bravado, he was inwardly grave. Having failed to finish his opponent after so many strikes, he began to consider retreating. Even that old ghost couldn't have dodged his attacks so easily; this mysterious masked man was... somewhat monstrous!

"That's exactly what I wanted to say to you!"

Su Ming smiled coldly. As the enemy charged, he stood motionless, merely pulling a silver glove onto his right hand. When the blade descended, he struck out with a casual punch!

*Crack!*

Metal shattered! Not bent, but shattered into pieces. Su Ming’s silver-gloved hand had pulverized the blade. The Shadow Black Samurai was terrified, staring blankly as his sword broke section by section. Before he could react, two silver-clad fingers clamped together and struck his chest.

*Crack!*

Bones splintered, and his chest caved in. Su Ming withdrew his fingers an inch and then applied force a second time.

*Crack!*

*Squelch!*

The second strike shattered the sternum, driving bone shards through the ribcage and out the back, leaving bloodied white bone fragments protruding. A large hand then crushed the Black Samurai’s mask, revealing a gaunt, skeletal face that looked like that of a drug addict, with deep-set, hollow eyes. Now filled with disbelief, his pupils dilated until he fell straight to his knees before Su Ming.

"The seals of the Four Great Heavenly Realms seem to be loosening," Su Ming muttered, frowning as he looked at the attire of the Inada Group's Shadow Black Samurai.

After dispatching him, Su Ming approached the old man, crouched down, and lifted his head to check his eyes. "Still alive. A tenacious will to live!"

Su Ming murmured to himself, then pulled out two silver needles to stop the bleeding from Steward Jin's chest. He then produced a bottle, opened it, and fed two pills to the steward. Having done this, he dusted off his hands and stood up. "Whether you live or die now depends on you."

With that, he tossed the empty bottle aside and walked toward the end of the corridor.

Just then, the slumped Steward Jin lifted his head, struggling to open his eyes to catch a glimpse of his savior. Through his blurred vision, he could only see a retreating back walking down the hall. A large group of Black Samurai rushed out, their swords raised as they charged at the figure.

In the next second, Steward Jin witnessed a high-octane spectacle. The figure moved like a tiger into a flock of sheep, radiating monstrous killing intent. A dagger whirled in his hand like the scythe of the Grim Reaper, harvesting lives. The Black Samurai fell like wheat being reaped. Every time their swords clashed with his dagger, they were snapped in two. The silver-gloved hand even crushed their blades into metallic dust, which drifted down like cold stardust! Blood splattered against the walls, creating crimson dots like blooming winter plum blossoms.

If violence is not for the sake of killing, it loses its meaning. Here, that philosophy was pushed to its absolute limit. The weakened Steward Jin felt his own blood surge, deeply shaken by the scene. Even in his own prime, compared to this figure, the difference was like heaven and earth.

The figure disappeared into the corridor, leaving behind a crisscross of corpses scattered across the floor—a demon from hell, having wreaked havoc upon the living.
