Chapter 114: Come to think of it, it really is exciting!

Upon hearing Lan Jin’s words, Qin Chuan’s forehead immediately sprouted three dark lines. He had originally intended to carefully study the asymmetry of the two mountain peaks while treating Tan Shuying! But with Lan Jin acting as an uninvited third wheel, Qin Chuan’s research was severely disrupted—he couldn’t just act freely… or rather, he couldn’t conduct his research with the rigorous medical attitude he intended.
“Qin Chuan, given your relationship with Jin’er, I suppose you wouldn’t refuse her request, would you?” Lin Wanyu asked with a teasing smile.
In Lin Wanyu’s view, stirring the waters first was essential to create the perfect environment for fishing in troubled waters. Although even she was unclear about the faint hostility she felt toward Tan Shuying, sending her close friend undercover was all gain and no loss.
The only concern Lin Wanyu harbored was whether her friend might be swayed by Tan Shuying midway, since that girl was a staunch fan of Tan Shuying.
“Even if Qin Chuan refuses, it won’t matter, because I hold the decision-making power in this matter. Jin’er is so adorable; I don’t mind having more contact and interaction with her,” Tan Shuying said with a charming smile, adopting the posture of a star who cherished her fans.
The minds of intelligent and beautiful women often think alike. Similar to Lin Wanyu’s intentions, Tan Shuying also wished to gain deeper insights into Lin Wanyu through Lan Jin. She herself was puzzled by the sudden urge to “know your enemy and yourself, and you will never be defeated.”
Poor Lan Jin, the big-eyed adorable girl, was still unaware that she was being used as a pawn by two clever women. She was completely immersed in the joy of being able to serve her idol as a little assistant.
Qin Chuan sighed quietly, but soon shifted his mindset. Although he couldn’t study the symmetry of the human body with Tan Shuying alone, the three of them could jointly “drive,” enjoying double the pleasure. Once he embraced this realization, Qin Chuan’s mood transformed from disappointment to joy and excitement.
Thus, all four present were very satisfied with the current arrangement, their faces beaming with smiles of fulfillment. The atmosphere was nothing short of harmonious and congenial.
After dinner, Lin Wanyu went home alone, while Qin Chuan and Lan Jin followed Tan Shuying back to Villa Eight at Binhai Mingdu.
On the way home, Wei Dapeng took the initiative to chat with Qin Chuan, while the stern-faced middle-aged man remained wary of Qin Chuan throughout, which made Qin Chuan feel both amused and helpless. The middle-aged man’s strength looked formidable, but compared to Qin Chuan, it was worlds apart.
Upon returning to the villa, Tan Shuying sent away Awei and the middle-aged man, then turned to Qin Chuan and Lan Jin, saying, “You two stay in the living room for a while. I’ll take a shower and then start the treatment. Later, we’ll go to my bedroom.”
“Jin’er, you should take a shower too! You only have the last session left; today, I’ll do acupuncture on both of you at the same time,” Qin Chuan said with a smile.
Lan Jin’s face instantly flushed crimson. Qin Chuan initially thought she was shy because she was exposed in front of Tan Shuying, but her next words nearly caused both Qin Chuan and Tan Shuying to lose their footing and fall.
“Just the thought of bathing with my idol is so exciting!” Lan Jin clenched her little pink fists and stomped her feet rapidly, her excitement and joy evident.
Soon, only Qin Chuan remained in the living room. Imagining the scene of two stunning beauties bathing together, certain parts of Qin Chuan’s body instantly saluted with enthusiasm.

However, this pleasant scene did not last long before the dark-faced middle-aged man approached.
“Chat?” the middle-aged man asked tersely.
Qin Chuan replied irritably, “If your ‘chat’ means fighting, then I have zero interest.”
The middle-aged man didn’t respond but his expression confirmed Qin Chuan’s suspicion, clearly showing a “no fight, no peace” attitude. Wei Dapeng was peeking from the living room door, looking like a bystander eagerly awaiting the show, his eyes brimming with unmasked anticipation and excitement.
Qin Chuan strongly suspected that the middle-aged man came to fight him at Wei Dapeng’s instigation—after all, this guy had suffered a major defeat at Qin Chuan’s hands before. Anyone who thinks he wouldn’t want to vent his anger is fooling themselves.
“If you want to fight, fine. But if you lose, you must honestly answer three of my questions. Otherwise, if you dare lay a hand on me, I’ll just call Tan Shuying. She’s probably showering now—I wouldn’t mind seeing a picture of a beauty coming out of the bath.”
Qin Chuan was equally forceful, showing no intention of backing down. He met the middle-aged man’s gaze squarely, even striking a slightly provocative pose.
“Alright!” the middle-aged man answered curtly.
“Brother Liao, Mr. Qin, let’s talk this through. No need to fight!” Wei Dapeng hurried over to mediate, though Qin Chuan noticed his expression was that of a bystander itching to watch the drama unfold.
“Scram!” the middle-aged man said coldly.
Wei Dapeng shrank his neck, clearly scared of the middle-aged man. He gave Qin Chuan an apologetic smile, then smoothly exited. As Wei Dapeng left the villa’s living room, Qin Chuan clearly saw a conspiratorial grin curl at the corner of his mouth.
“This kid is definitely up to no good!” Qin Chuan confirmed his earlier suspicions, then followed the middle-aged man to the courtyard.
The villa’s first-floor courtyard was spacious, especially the patch paved with bluestone slabs, making it an ideal spot for a duel.

The middle-aged man was already standing on the open ground waiting. Qin Chuan walked opposite him and said calmly, steady as a mountain, “I’ll only use my right hand. Attack as you please.”
“Good!” The middle-aged man’s figure vanished in an instant.
Qin Chuan’s gaze sharpened. This guy was indeed unusual—not because of strength, but because he wasted no words, unlike villains in movies or dramas.
In short: fearless of life or death, ready to fight if dissatisfied.
The middle-aged man’s speed was incredibly fast, his fist hurtling toward Qin Chuan’s face with a fierce gust of wind. Even Qin Chuan couldn’t help but admire—this fellow was showing signs of externalizing his inner energy; his internal martial arts were well-formed. At this rate, in less than ten years, he might reach the stage of transforming strength into energy.
That was the dividing line between true ancient martial arts masters and ordinary practitioners—a realm most martial artists could never reach in a lifetime.
“Scared stiff?” The middle-aged man curled his lips slightly seeing Qin Chuan remain perfectly still.
But in the next moment, his smile froze. Qin Chuan lightly extended his right hand and caught the powerful, heavy punch steadily, the tremendous force vanishing like a stone sinking into the sea.
“Decent speed, insufficient strength,” Qin Chuan evaluated with a smile. Then he twisted his wrist and gently flicked outward.
The middle-aged man, weighing nearly 150 pounds, flew like a sheet of paper, landing five or six yards away. If not for the villa’s iron gate stopping him, he would have been sent even farther.
“Shall we continue?” Qin Chuan asked the stunned and dumbfounded man.
