Chapter 114: Judas Gets Humbled

“Wahahaha! Boss, we’ve really struck it rich this time! Look at all these crystals!”

Judah rummaged through a heap of emerald-green crystals, occasionally stuffing a few into his mouth and swallowing them whole.

Cold Heaven materialized as well. His entire field of vision was filled with glittering green stones. Looking around, he saw them everywhere; in some places, they were piled as high as mountains.

Judah transformed into emptiness and carried Cold Heaven through the sea eye. Beyond it lay a winding passage that twisted and turned. After traveling several kilometers, they finally arrived at a marvelous underwater world.

It was called marvelous because, at the end of the sea-eye passage, there was a space resembling a gigantic bubble. This space lay on the floor of the sea at an immense depth, and across the broad seabed, translucent emerald crystals were piled everywhere.

“Brother Heaven, where are we? Why are there crystals everywhere?” Snow Grace’s delicate voice entered Cold Heaven’s mind. She had remained silent until now.

“On the seabed.” Cold Heaven watched Judah wolf down the crystals and could not help laughing inwardly. He wondered whether Judah could actually digest all that he had swallowed.

“Brother Heaven, these are all treasures! They were condensed from Grand Azure Sea True Qi, and the energy stored inside them is enormous. They are the finest energy source for setting up a teleportation array!”

Snow Grace explained the origin and purpose of the crystals in a single breath.

“A teleportation array...” Hearing that the emerald crystals could serve as an energy source for one, Cold Heaven immediately thought of Li Dongqing in Purgatory. “I wonder whether he knows how to set one up.”

He then asked Snow Grace, “If what you say is true, can these crystals also be absorbed for cultivation?”

Snow Grace fell silent for a moment before her voice drifted over. “They can be absorbed for cultivation, but the warrior’s body must meet certain requirements. Its strength must have reached a sufficient level. Otherwise, the tremendous energy will fill the body beyond its capacity, and the result will be an explosion of the body.”

“The energy in these crystals, condensed from Grand Azure Sea True Qi, is extremely unusual. The Ancient Realm belongs to the demon clans, yet they cannot use the crystals for cultivation. As soon as she finished speaking, a flash of light appeared at Cold Heaven’s wrist, and Snow Grace emerged in her true form. She wore a flowing rainbow-cloud dress and went barefoot. Hopping and skipping, she came to a pile of crystals, grabbed one, and turned to Cold Heaven with a sweet smile.

“I can eat them too!”

She tossed the crystal into her mouth and swallowed it whole, just like Judah.

Cold Heaven’s expression froze. He was utterly speechless and could only sigh inwardly that Judah and Snow Grace were both monsters of a kind. Still, he was delighted. With so many emerald crystals, these two creatures who could not be judged by ordinary standards would surely make tremendous advances in cultivation.

A crimson glow burst from his dantian, and Purgatory floated before him. With a thought, he sent it over one crystal mountain after another. Red light flashed, drawing the crystals into Purgatory.

Seeing Cold Heaven collecting the crystals, Judah greedily spread his body over several of the largest piles and wailed, “Boss, these are all mine! You can’t take them away!”

“Brother Heaven, these are mine too. You can’t take them!” Snow Grace stood barefoot atop a crystal mound several meters high, planted her hands on her waist, and declared herself with considerable authority.

Cold Heaven glared at Judah. Seeing the creature’s greed, he said irritably, “Aren’t you afraid of bursting from overeating?”

“Hehehe... They’re all mine now. All mine!”

Once Cold Heaven gave his permission, Judah no longer cared whether he could swallow them all. He excitedly continued his campaign of devouring.

Watching Snow Grace’s imperious expression, Cold Heaven grinned wickedly.

“Tsk, tsk... A young lady eating so much—aren’t you afraid of getting fat? If your figure becomes bulky, I won’t like it.”

“That’s none of your business! I’m not going to get fat...” Snow Grace stuck out her lips, deeply displeased by his remark. Girls always cared greatly about their appearance. Although she knew he was joking, her pretty face still fell.

“Eat as much as you like. With so many crystals, I refuse to believe you can consume them all.”

Still smiling, Cold Heaven continued collecting the crystals.

Judah cast several wary glances at Snow Grace before devouring the crystals beneath him like a ravenous wolf. When Snow Grace saw him begin, she refused to be outdone. She swung her two little legs into motion and ate without the slightest trace of ladylike restraint.

Cold Heaven could only smile helplessly. The two troublemakers really did seem well matched. Time passed amid their frenzied eating. After he had collected every last crystal, Cold Heaven sat cross-legged on the ground and watched with interest as Judah and Snow Grace continued their seemingly endless feast.

“This little girl can really eat! I can’t take any more. No, I can’t let myself lose to a little girl...”

Judah’s belly was stretched round and taut. Only a small pile of crystals remained beneath him. A mound as large as a hill had been reduced to that much, and there was no room left in his stomach. Yet Snow Grace was still devouring crystals beside him, wearing an expression that said she could eat plenty more. Every so often, she even shot Judah a look of disdain.

How could the Formless Shadow Demon tolerate that?

Even if he burst, he could not lose to a little girl. Judah forcefully compressed the crystals in his stomach and finally freed a little space. Just as he was about to swallow the remaining crystals with all his might, a small, snow-white foot stepped onto his huge hand.

“You lost. The rest belongs to me.”

Snow Grace looked at Judah with a bright smile. Her meaning could not have been clearer: You’re useless.

Judah was furious. When had he, a mighty Formless Shadow Demon, fallen so low as to be despised by a little girl?

He turned his head and saw Cold Heaven meditating with his eyes closed. His courage immediately returned. Pulling a sinister expression across his grotesque face, he growled, “Little girl, I’m warning you. These crystals were all given to me by the boss. If you dare steal them, I’ll eat you along with them!”

The instant he finished speaking, a snow-white foot kicked him squarely in the mouth. His body crashed heavily into the distance.

“How dare you challenge me? You’re nowhere near good enough!”

Snow Grace angrily gathered the remaining crystals in front of herself. When Judah lunged toward her, she pointed at him and scolded, “Don’t come any closer. Do you believe I can make sure you never return?”

Judah actually stopped. He truly feared that the little girl might have some hidden technique capable of restraining him. Standing obediently where he was, he gave an ingratiating laugh.

“Let’s make a deal. We’ll split the remaining crystals half and half. What do you say?”

“Who wants to split them with you? Are you even a person? Half and half, indeed. You’re forcing me to look down on you. Get out of here and stop getting in my way!”

Snow Grace’s words struck Judah exactly where it hurt. As she had said, he was not a person at all, but the infamous Formless Shadow Demon. And now he had been frightened into submission by a little girl. If word of this got out, how could he ever show his face again?

“Don’t push me too far! I refuse to believe you can do anything to me!”

Green light flickered in Judah’s eyes. His formless body shook, and he pounced on Snow Grace, who was still eating crystals.

“Idiot. Even a Formless Shadow Demon must remain obediently trapped within my illusionary realm!”

Snow Grace giggled wickedly. She ignored Judah’s charge and continued moving her little hands rapidly, tossing crystal after crystal into her mouth.

Judah watched in agony. Yet despite his speed, the distance of several dozen meters refused to grow any shorter. He could not advance even a fraction.

Something suddenly alerted him.

“Wait... Something’s wrong!”

Only then did Judah remember that he had never seen this little girl since signing his contract with Cold Heaven. She had suddenly appeared today. Could she be the fiend’s newly acquired maidservant?

Her body clearly existed somewhere between flesh and energy, making her presence extremely difficult to sense.

“Damn it! I refuse to believe I can’t deal with you!”

No matter how much he increased his speed, it was as though he were merely spinning in place. Seeing that Snow Grace was about to finish all the crystals, Judah grew anxious. He transformed into emptiness and relied on his ability to merge with space, attempting to teleport directly to her.

But this time, he was destined to suffer a setback.

His previously invincible technique failed. After merging with space, Judah discovered in shock that, despite becoming part of space itself, he had been imprisoned within it. He could not move even the slightest distance.

Snow Grace leisurely placed the final crystal into her mouth. She glanced toward Judah and giggled.

“Thank you for the crystals. I’m full!”

She patted her still-flat belly, then deliberately stretched lazily.

“Being full feels wonderful!”

“If you have the ability, release me! I’ll fight you for three hundred rounds!”

Judah watched helplessly as Snow Grace devoured every last crystal. His heart bled. He had begged the fiend for those crystals with great difficulty, only to hand them over to someone else. His face twisted viciously as he tried to provoke Snow Grace into a desperate battle.

“What a beautiful fish!”

Snow Grace did not hear his cries at all. Instead, she floated leisurely into the air and admired the underwater scenery outside. A large pink fish swam overhead, immediately capturing the little girl’s attention.

Judah was so furious that he nearly vomited blood and fainted. He pushed his strength to its absolute limit, desperately trying to break free of the spatial restraint. But the restriction Snow Grace had created was extremely solid. No matter how hard he struggled, he could not shake it.

“You’d better behave yourself. Can’t you see Brother Heaven is cultivating? If you disturb him, you know what will happen!”

Sensing Judah’s movements, Snow Grace released him with a malicious smile. When he immediately lunged at her again, she threatened him by invoking Cold Heaven’s name.

Judah’s overwhelming rage vanished at once. He glanced at Cold Heaven, who was deep in meditation, and felt his heart sink. The little girl was right. The fiend was cultivating, and if he accidentally disturbed him, there would certainly be hell to pay.

“You’d better go back and digest everything obediently. Don’t wait until the energy from those crystals makes you burst.”

Seeing Judah’s changing expression, Snow Grace knew he was afraid. She immediately struck him with another warning, reminding him that he had swallowed far more crystals than his body could withstand.

“That’s none of your concern. Don’t think I’m afraid of this little amount. Even twice as much wouldn’t trouble me. You should worry about yourself instead—don’t let the energy make you explode. Hehehe...”

After saying this, Judah transformed into a wisp of smoke and slipped into the space between Cold Heaven’s brows. He no longer wished to entangle himself with Snow Grace.

Damn it! She suppressed me at every turn. Just wait. One day, I’ll make you cry with nowhere to hide!
