By this time, the demon had recovered half of its strength. Although the terrifying strike from the red-faced elder earlier was heaven-shaking and earth-shattering in its might, it failed to inflict any damage. Instead, the demon had employed a forbidden technique to devour and absorb all of that energy.

In truth, all of this had been meticulously planned by the demon, which was simply waiting for the fish to take the bait. Combined with the vast amounts of seawater containing genuine Qi that it had swallowed earlier, its strength had temporarily been restored to a large extent.

Breaking through space and returning to the Azure Sea Domain, it intended to indulge in a feast of slaughter, swallowing every living creature here into its belly. Should it do so, its strength would be thoroughly consolidated at its current realm.

Its deep purple eyes stared fixedly at the three fleeing saints, and an evil chuckle escaped its jagged, tooth-filled maw, "Gaga... I am back. Panic, tremble! I shall devour you all, and make you cower in terror under my demonic might!"

"Boom, boom!"

The thousand-foot-tall body sprinted wildly across the endless azure sea surface, a terrifying sight indeed. The demon's running speed was by no means slower than a martial artist's flight speed; in just a few breaths, a hundred miles were left behind it.

Before long, a fairly large island appeared in its field of vision. Seeing the island, saliva began to pour from the demon's mouth like a waterfall, and as its thousand-foot form galloped, it left behind a blur of afterimages in its wake.

Meanwhile, the residents on the island were in utter chaos. Gazing at the towering giant demon closing in by the moment, many were paralyzed with fear, collapsing to the ground, utterly devoid of even the courage to run!

"Boom!"

The mountain-sized foot heavily stamped onto the island, causing the entire landmass to shudder violently. Countless mortals were shaken to death on the spot by the sheer force of the impact.

Within mere moments, all living souls on the island were sucked into the demon's body by a single breath from its massive maw.

Having won its first victory with ease, the demon strode away from this dead island on its two colossal legs, guided by its innate sensitivity to living entities as it dashed toward another delicious destination.

Just a few hours later, no fewer than ten islands, large and small, had been utterly devoured by the demon. This toll even included a Des-Mortal stage martial artist who had fought the demon head-on to buy time for his wife, children, and elderly dependents. The result, however, was his own consumption, while his family failed to escape either, all becoming meals in the demon's belly.

At this moment, the island closest to the demon was Flaming Island, the very place that had aided in its escape. The island was already in absolute turmoil. Island Master Hu Batian was busy ordering his men to pack all portable treasures into storage rings.

"Where is the young miss?" Hu Batian intercepted a guard, demanding to know Hu Cuishan's whereabouts, only to learn that she had left the island several days prior with no one knowing her destination.

Realizing his daughter was not on the island, Hu Batian felt a surge of anger toward her, yet as this catastrophe loomed, his concern for her safety prevailed. After all, blood was thicker than water; no matter how exasperated he was, she was still his own flesh and blood.

"Island Master, let us leave quickly! The demon is not far from us now! It will likely arrive in a matter of moments!" said the middle-aged man in white—who had previously pursued Leng Tian alongside the gray-robed elder—as he hurried up to Hu Batian.

"Alas... we yearn for the demon, yet we fear the demon. I fear my venerable father has already met with misfortune!" Hu Batian heighed a long sigh before leading a group of subordinates, riding their cultivation lights, to fly toward the entrance of the Heaven-Reaching Pagoda.

Hu Batian had departed, but the vast majority of the mortals on the island were trapped in inescapable doom. Most of them had lived on Flaming Island for generations; even if they wished to flee, they were utterly powerless and could only sit and await their impending death.

With monstrous, towering evil Qi, the thousand-foot demon galloped all the way to Flaming Island. Amidst the frantic shrieks of the people, they were sucked into the demon's belly and converted into malevolent energy.

The demon never left a single blade of grass in its wake. Before long, every resident of Flaming Island had been entirely devoured, not even leaving behind a scrap of flesh.

Just as the demon prepared to leave, beams of nine-colored divine light descended from the sky, instantly sealing off a region spanning hundreds of miles. A magnificent and majestic pressure descended upon the domain.

The thousand-foot demon let out a muffled grunt as it felt this vast, heavenly pressure bear down upon it, feeling a jolt of alarm in its heart. It raised its massive head to gaze at the high heavens, where a pillar of nine-colored light filled its twin purple eyes.

"Boom!"

The nine-colored light pillar struck squarely atop the demon's massive head. There was no explosive burst of energy, nor even a shred of overflowing aura, yet the demon's thousand-foot form was forcefully beaten back down to a height of just ten feet.

"The power of a realm? It's actually the World-Suppressing Stele! Who is manipulating the World-Suppressing Stele? Step out and fight me one-on-one if you have the guts—what kind of skill is it to use the power of an entire realm? Get your ass out here!"

Reduced to a height of ten feet, the demon's eyes flashed with fierce purple light as it scanned its surroundings, seemingly searching for the master manipulating the World-Suppressing Stele.

"Hum!"

A heaven-shattering blade hum echoed in the demon's ears. Before it could even react, an unadorned, plain-looking saber slashed right in front of it.

"Boom!"

A spray of green blood was cast into the midair as an arm covered in purple scales was severed and fell from above. "Ah..." A piercing, miserable howl tore from the ten-foot demon's throat.

Having successfully landed its strike, the azure-blue saber flashed upward and hovered motionlessly in the high altitude. Directly beneath the blade stood Leng Tian, his white robes fluttering in the wind, his three-colored eyes filled with utter shock.

Before the World-Suppressing Stele had even made its move, Leng Tian had been brought to this location by the azure-blue saber. Having witnessed the terrifying form of the thousand-foot demon firsthand, he knew he could never hope to shake the terrifying might it radiated during its movement.

Following that, he had watched in astonishment as the thousand-foot monster was battered down to a mere ten feet by a single strike from the World-Suppressing Stele, which finally gave him a sliver of confidence.

"Who is it? Show yourself! To be a human expert yet resort to such cheap sneak attacks—I will devour you alive!" Having had one of his arms hacked off by the azure-blue saber, the demon was both terrified and furious, standing midair and spewing ceaseless curses.

"Kid, I cannot show my face for a moment because this little demonic brat recognizes me. Therefore, I will temporarily lend my energy to you so that you can teach it a lesson. What do you think?"

The mysterious man's voice echoed in Leng Tian's mind.

"Could it be that you and it had some illicit affair? Otherwise, why would you be too afraid to show your face? Did you do something to wrong the other party?"

Hearing the mysterious man's words, Leng Tian retorted with a deeply wicked tone.

"What kind of look is that in your eyes? Even if I chose to have an illicit affair with a pig, I wouldn't communicate emotionally with that thing!" The mysterious man fired back, his face neither red nor out of breath.

Leng Tian was speechless; he hadn't expected such a remark from him.

The demon had already discovered Leng Tian's presence. Its newly severed arm was currently regenerating at a rapid pace, and within the blink of an eye, a brand-new, intact limb had grown out.

"Little bastard, who are you? To be able to sever one of this demon's arms with a single strike, you must be no ordinary nobody." As the demon spoke, its gaze settled upon the azure-blue saber.

"Another supreme treasure! Gaga... Excellent, excellent. To have two supreme treasures appear back-to-back—it seems today is destined to yield quite a harvest. Yet this saber... why does it feel so familiar? Why can't I remember it for the life of me?!"

Gazing at the azure-blue saber, the demon racked its brain, desperately trying to recall where it had seen this weapon before.

"You fucking could remember it only in your dreams! Hehe..." The mysterious man muttered to himself inexplicably.

"Old dog, stop your rampant barking! Believe it or not, this young master will make you cry in a moment..." Leng Tian replied with equal arrogance, standing with his hands clasped behind his back.

"Kid, you're courting death..." roared the demon in fury. The only reason it hadn't immediately moved to devour Leng Tian was its lingering dread of the two supreme treasures.

"Pfft, you don't even have the qualifications to make this young master court death. If you're tired of living, this young master can send you on your way for free, absolutely free of charge!"

Leng Tian stretched out a single finger with a deadpan expression, speaking with utter disdain. He no longer felt any fear toward this powerful demon. For one, he had an immensely formidable figure residing within his body, and for another, the World-Suppressing Stele hovered overhead. With such backing, if he didn't act arrogant now, he would truly be doing a disservice to the two supreme treasures that had set the stage for him.

"Vile human, spare me your empty rhetoric. Once I devour you shortly, let's see how you still manage to bluster!" By this time, the demon had fully regenerated its arm.

"Kid, I have already notified the World-Suppressing Stele. It will immobilize this demon shortly, and as for the rest—you just beat the living daylight out of it for me!" The mysterious man's tone was exceptionally smug.

"Are you serious?" Hearing this, Leng Tian asked with a heart full of eager anticipation.

"Of course I'm serious! Beat it black and blue later, preferably so badly even its own mother wouldn't recognize it! Haha..."

"Why do I feel like you are the most despicable person in this world? But I like it, hehe..." Leng Tian chuckled mischievously as well.

"Gaga... Vile human, go die!" Cackling wildly, the demon lunged toward Leng Tian like lightning.

"Now is the time, kid—hit it hard!" The mysterious man prompted Leng Tian that it was time to strike.

Just as the demon's body soared forward, a column of nine-colored light plunged from the sky directly into its body. In an instant, the demon froze in midair, completely paralyzed!

"Ah..." Roaring in fury, the immobilized demon unleashed a flood of gray malevolent Qi from its entire body, attempting to break free from the World-Suppressing Stele's restraint. Yet no matter how wildly it struggled, it simply could not break loose. "Vile human, I..."

"Your sister!"

A white-gold leg slammed viciously into the demon's jaw, forcing its words back down into its stomach.

"Vile... ah..." A massive, razor-sharp fang was blasted flying by Leng Tian's punch.

"Kid, hit it! Beat it hard!" The mysterious man kept howling encouragement in Leng Tian's mind.

"Vile human, I will tear you to pieces..." The demon's face shifted from purple to ashen as it roared up at the heavens.

"Bam!"

Leng Tian kicked the demon squarely in the jaw once more, laughing aloud, "Today, this young master shall test out a newly invented technique on you—Three Hundred Kicks to Beat the Dog!"

"Ah..." The demon let out successive roars as two more fangs shot into the sky amidst its fury, dark green blood trickling down the corners of its mouth.

"Strike while the iron is hot!" Leng Tian once again materialized before the demon, his white-gold boots landing blows in rapid succession.

"Bang, bang, bang..."

In the blink of an eye, Leng Tian unleashed over thirty kicks, every single one landing heavily upon the demon's ferocious visage.
