Chapter 102: The Servant Gwen
In a world unlike any ordinary realm, several white, strange creatures gathered together, engaged in discussion. Their appearances resembled inverted versions of the symbiote-clad superheroes, as if venom had possessed them and transformed their suits into gleaming crystalline armor. Their bodies were covered with peculiar crystal-like growths, and their heads looked as though they wore skull masks.
Though their bodies were brightly colored, they exuded an even more sinister aura than the shadowy, blackish heroes corrupted by Venom.
The Poison Clan.
A mutant symbiote tribe residing in a parallel universe, they were stronger and more disciplined than ordinary Venom symbiotes.
Where Venom symbiotes sought mutual coexistence with their hosts, the Poison symbiotes pursued complete domination—consuming, replacing the host entirely, and turning the host’s body into their own property.
Their corrosive power was terrifyingly potent. Even Steve Rogers, Captain America, Marvel’s steadfast symbol of willpower, could not escape being transformed into a mindless Poison warrior.
The reason lay in their method of transformation—not a forced invasion like Venom’s—but a deception. They would manifest as the image of the host’s most beloved person, compelling the target to willingly accept them.
Once embraced by this illusory lover, the victim became a slave to the Poison forever. In this universe, even Thanos had succumbed to becoming a Poison symbiote.
Their existence was, without a doubt, terrifying.
Now, before this group stood a projection screen displaying a photograph of Jos.
“This individual is the one Doctor Strange observed—the one who erased Carnage from that universe,” a Poison symbiote said, pointing to the image. He wore a mechanical armor fused with his body, clearly a Poison-infected Iron Man.
Though the Avengers of this universe had been completely eradicated by Poison’s conversion, it didn’t hinder these few from coordinating more effectively.
“Highly valuable for research. The existence of Carnage is a significant threat to us. If we capture him, we might uncover how he was destroyed,” Poison Captain America said gravely.
“Send Gwen Servant. Her strength is comparatively low; she’s less likely to attract the attention of the world’s suppressors,” Poison Black Widow suggested.
No one opposed her. This was the norm within the Poison Clan.

Hmm, only about 200 subscriptions at first… a bit disheartening…
Anyway, I’ll just add two more chapters…
Everyone served the Poison Hive with no disputes or doubts; all discussions centered solely on the hive’s interests.
After discussion, the plan was set. Gwen Servant, infected by Poison, was swiftly transported to the universe where Jos resided.
No one noticed this crisis from the parallel universe… or perhaps someone did, but chose silence.
In any case, for now, Jos remained unaware of this.
…
“Ah, why did they have to send me for this mission? It’s way too much to ask!” Gwen Servant complained incessantly aboard a plane bound for New Mexico.
This girl’s background was quite extraordinary. If anyone in this world shared a similar experience, it would be Jos Bones.
Originally, Gwen’s universe was like Jos’s previous life—Marvel’s stories existed only as movies and comics.
But this chuunibyou girl was remarkably proactive and imaginative. She had transported herself into the Marvel world, becoming an independent traveler across dimensions.
Unlike most Marvel supernaturals, she possessed no powers herself but was a walking encyclopedia of Marvel’s events and characters.
In terms of Marvel knowledge, she might even surpass Jos, a seasoned veteran. Whenever encountering Marvel incidents, Gwen often devised wildly imaginative yet surprisingly effective plans.
However, her mind tended toward Deadpool-esque antics. She often did troublesome and ridiculous things, likely due to the arrogance of being a “traveler” combined with her lack of true power and susceptibility to manipulation.
Moreover, in the Poison universe, she had been infected and became part of the Poison Clan, rendering her vast knowledge useless.
As a fighter, she was hardly more formidable than an armed civilian, so they ultimately chose her for this mission to avoid attracting the attention of heavy-hitters like the Ancient One.
Her task was simple: deliver the Poison symbiote on her body to Jos. Aside from finding a way to approach him, there were no combat challenges.
“Why won’t this armor come off? How am I supposed to put on makeup like this?!” Gwen tugged at the helmet covering her face, but to no avail, she sighed in frustration.
Perhaps Poison had difficulty with hosts who were mentally unstable. After all, even Deadpool, once infected, managed to rebel and play a double agent. Gwen hadn’t resisted the hive’s orders but was quick to betray teammates when necessary.
To a hive of countless drones and queens, individuals like Gwen and Deadpool were anomalies—special cases even within the Poison universe’s narrative, making them unreliable references for combating Poison symbiotes.
But all that was irrelevant to Gwen now; her only concern was how to get close to Jos.
Unlike Venom symbiotes, which could hide seamlessly inside hosts, Poison-infected individuals were permanently encased in this crystalline skull-like armor, impossible to conceal their identity.
Fortunately, people in this world were quite familiar with superheroes. Seeing Gwen’s appearance elicited little reaction; otherwise, her boarding a plane in such an eccentric outfit would have drawn immediate attention.
Now safely on the plane, Gwen had no concrete plan. Jos was undeniably unlike any character she had encountered in comics, so she knew nothing about his preferences or habits, making ambush difficult.
During the flight’s hours, Gwen finally settled on a plan.
Step one: Find Jos.
Step two: Deliver the symbiote.
Step three: Either take Jos away or flee.
Well, good luck, Gwen!
