Chapter 123: Now That Is a Real Man (Fourth Installment)
Qin Tian had never expected Fox Fairy to pursue him all the way here in order to assassinate him. If he did not deal with her, he feared there would be endless trouble in the future.
Qin Tian decided to capture Fox Fairy and send her to Nangong Xiao’e.
He believed that as long as he captured enough people, sooner or later he would find out who was trying to deal with him.
“Young master, I brought guns today—two of them!” Fox Fairy said with a cheerful laugh.
“Really? Are you the old woman with two guns?” Qin Tian teased blandly, while secretly trying to think of a way out. Since his opponent was armed, things would not be so easy.
“Young master, that’s going too far.” Fox Fairy gave a coquettish snort to show her displeasure.
“If you’ve got the nerve, put down your guns and fight me hand to hand!” Qin Tian said.
“Young master, you’re so hateful! I’m still an innocent maiden!” Fox Fairy gave another coquettish snort.
Qin Tian glanced behind him. The dining area was just beyond the sofa, and there happened to be several empty plates on the table.
He then looked up at the chandelier overhead. Perhaps he could do this—but cleaning up afterward would be rather troublesome.
Still, with his life in danger, he could not afford to worry about that.
Qin Tian swiftly reached for a plate on the table and hurled it violently toward the point where the chandelier was attached.
The chandelier was connected to the ceiling by solid wood, with electrical wires running through the middle. Cutting through the wood and then severing the wires would be somewhat difficult.
But to Qin Tian, it was nothing. As long as the force was great enough and the speed fast enough, even a sheet of paper could kill someone, let alone a plate. It would certainly be enough to cut down the chandelier!
Bang!
With a deafening crash, the plate shattered, and the chandelier began to sway precariously.
Qin Tian’s eyes widened. His estimate had been wrong. The solid wood had split apart, but the wires inside were still connected.
“Young master, you’re so naughty!” Fox Fairy immediately understood what Qin Tian had intended and darted out of the chandelier’s range.
If the chandelier fell, it would strike her. Even if she managed to dodge it, she would be thrown into disarray, giving Qin Tian the opportunity to attack.
“Young master, I’ll put away the guns, then. After all, I’m a woman. Shouldn’t you be the one drawing your gun?” Fox Fairy said with a mischievous laugh.
“What the hell!” Qin Tian was speechless. He suspected that Fox Fairy was making an innuendo.
“Hahahaha! Young master, I’m coming for you!” Fox Fairy burst into laughter.
Bang! Bang!
Two shots tore straight through the sofa. Qin Tian was fortunate enough not to be hit.
But whether he would be so lucky next time was another matter.
The sofa was not enough to stop her pistol.
Qin Tian rolled across the floor and dashed directly into the kitchen.
“Young master, hiding in the kitchen won’t help you,” Fox Fairy said as she walked toward it with her gun.
Once inside the kitchen, there would be nowhere left to retreat. Was Qin Tian not simply driving himself into a dead end?
Qin Tian rummaged around frantically in the kitchen and finally found the frying pan.
It had been bought by Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing. It was an extra-thick model, and Qin Tian had no idea what those two young ladies had been thinking when they bought such a thick frying pan.
Did they think that the thicker a cooking pan was, the more durable it would be?
Qin Tian thought that at least this pan would finally prove useful today. It had not been bought in vain.
“Young master, I’m coming in,” Fox Fairy said cheerfully as she entered the kitchen.
Qin Tian raised the frying pan and brought it down toward Fox Fairy’s face.
Fox Fairy hurriedly dodged while firing two shots at Qin Tian.
Qin Tian quickly used the frying pan to shield himself.
Bang! Bang!
The two bullets struck the pan and embedded themselves in it. They had actually failed to penetrate it!
Fox Fairy’s elegant brows lifted slightly, as though she had not expected her bullets to be unable to pierce the frying pan.
“Damn, what a treasure!” Qin Tian gripped the pan, growing fonder of it the more he looked at it. Thanks to Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing buying the wrong pan, it had ended up saving his life.
“Monster, take this!” Qin Tian seized the frying pan and swung it at Jiang Yingying.
Jiang Yingying fired two more shots. Qin Tian raised the pan to defend himself and blocked both of them again.
At that very moment, Qin Tian took advantage of the opening and kicked Fox Fairy in both arms.
The tremendous force jolted Fox Fairy’s arms, and her grip on the guns faltered. Both weapons flew from her hands—one landing on the gas stove, the other in the sink.
When Qin Tian saw that Fox Fairy was unarmed, he tossed aside the frying pan and rushed forward, tackling her to the floor.
Fox Fairy struggled desperately, making full use of a woman’s advantage of having long fingernails. She tore Qin Tian’s clothes into shreds.
Qin Tian frowned slightly. Tearing someone’s clothes during a fight was utterly classless!
Fox Fairy seized the opportunity and drove her knee into Qin Tian’s back. It was almost the same sequence of events as before.
Qin Tian was sent flying forward, and his head nearly struck the wall. He managed to shield it with both hands.
Fox Fairy quickly got to her feet and moved to retrieve the gun on the gas stove. Qin Tian was not about to let her have her way. He stretched out his foot and hooked it around her.
Fox Fairy pitched forward. Her chin nearly slammed into the sink and split open, but fortunately, she reacted quickly and raised her arm to block the impact. Even so, her arm was badly injured.
Qin Tian hurriedly reached for the gun on the stove. At the same time, Fox Fairy suddenly exerted strength with both arms, sprang upright, and grabbed the gun from the sink.
Fox Fairy turned and aimed at Qin Tian, only to discover in surprise that Qin Tian had also seized the other gun and was aiming straight at her.
“How about we throw them away?” Qin Tian said.
“All right. We’ll throw them away together when I count to three.” Fox Fairy nodded.
“One!”
“Two!”
“Three!”
“Why didn’t you throw yours?” Fox Fairy asked.
“You didn’t throw yours either,” Qin Tian said with a shrug.
“Go to hell!”
Fox Fairy suddenly pulled the trigger.
Qin Tian had been prepared. He snatched up the frying pan he had tossed onto the stovetop and used it to block the shot.
At the same time, Qin Tian fired. The bullet struck Fox Fairy directly in the chest.
Fox Fairy’s entire body was sent flying and crashed into the sink.
“Is she dead?”
Seeing that Fox Fairy had suddenly gone still, Qin Tian approached cautiously.
Just as he was about to reach her, Fox Fairy suddenly moved. She stretched out a hand, seized Qin Tian by the ankle, and yanked hard.
Qin Tian’s body was pulled backward, and he fell onto the floor.
Fox Fairy took the opportunity to straddle him, pinning him so firmly that he could not move.
“That’s going too far!” Qin Tian frowned slightly. This position was a little too suggestive.
“Doesn’t young master like me this way?” Having gained the upper hand, Fox Fairy was in a much better mood and began teasing him again.
“Get off!” Qin Tian tried to push Fox Fairy away and reached directly toward her chest.
“Young master, you’re such a lecher!” Fox Fairy seized both his hands, then slowly lowered herself and breathed beside his ear.
“What the hell are you two doing?”
A startled voice suddenly rang out from nearby. Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing had returned at some point.
The voice belonged to Shen Xiaoqing.
She stared at Qin Tian lying on the floor with nearly his entire upper body bare, a woman straddling him. She was so shocked that she could hardly believe her eyes.
They were actually doing it in the kitchen? Qin Tian really was an impressive man!
