"You're going to save him?" Qin Tian looked at Jess the Ripper with a playful expression.

The old man before them was in no immediate danger of death for at least another half hour, so Qin Tian didn't mind letting Jess the Ripper embarrass himself a little longer. Of course, while Qin Tian had a half-hour window, for any other doctor, anything beyond three minutes would mean they had no way to save the man.

Why, you ask? There is no why—it is simply because Qin Tian is that incredible.

"Hmph!" Jess the Ripper let out a cold snort, stepped forward, and took the old man from Qin Tian’s hands. But once he had him, he was at a loss; he truly had no idea why the old man was in this state.

"Does anyone know the patient?" Jess the Ripper asked.

"He is the Vice President of the Kyoto Medical Association," someone replied.

"Does he have a medical history? Something like heart disease?" Jess the Ripper asked. Judging by the man's age, such a sudden collapse was most likely due to a heart condition.

"No, Elder Jiao has always been in excellent health," one of Jiao Yumin's colleagues said.

Jess the Ripper frowned, preparing to perform CPR; his only working hypothesis was that Jiao Yumin had suffered a sudden cardiac event.

"I suggest you don't perform CPR, or he might die on the spot," Qin Tian said indifferently.

"Hmph! Since you're so capable, why don't you save him? I’d love to see how you bring him back to life!" Jess the Ripper snorted. Inwardly, he was actually happy that Qin Tian was mocking him, as it gave him a perfect excuse to step aside.

Qin Tian glanced at Jess the Ripper, seeing right through his little scheme. Was he trying to pass the buck back? Qin Tian smiled—it didn't matter. He would take the burden.

"Move aside, move aside!" Qin Tian waved his hand at Jess the Ripper. Jess laid Jiao Yumin flat on the ground and stepped back a few paces.

"Elder Sun, come over here; I’m going to teach you another lesson," Qin Tian beckoned to Sun Simin.

The crowd gasped in shock. This young man had quite the ego! He actually claimed he was going to teach a lesson to the legendary physician Sun Simin! Most of those present did not know the relationship between Sun Simin and Qin Tian; only a small group outside had witnessed it earlier.

Everyone expected Sun Simin to be furious, but to their surprise, Sun Simin scurried over, his face beaming with joy.

"Master, what peerless skill are you teaching today?" Sun Simin asked with a grin, looking as if he were about to drool.

Anything that came from Qin Tian was a masterpiece! The Eighteen Needles of Sealing the Dragon, the Nine-Palace Soul-Returning Needles—which of them wasn't legendary? Sun Simin waited in anticipation to see what heaven-defying technique Qin Tian would teach him next.

"First, take a look and tell me what the cause of his illness is," Qin Tian asked.

"Hmm, it should be a cardiac issue. If I haven't misdiagnosed it, the heart pulse is damaged; there might be a fissure," Sun Simin said after placing his fingers on Jiao Yumin’s pulse and pondering for a moment.

"Yes, not bad. It is indeed a damaged heart pulse. There is a fissure in the heart," Qin Tian nodded.

"Pfft! You didn't even take an X-ray. Do you have X-ray vision? You can tell there's a crack in his heart just like that?" Jess the Ripper sneered from the side.

"Please show some respect to Elder Sun!" someone immediately scolded him, looking displeased. While some doctors didn't mind the bickering between Jess and Qin Tian, most held Sun Simin in such high regard as an idol that they would not tolerate anyone questioning him.

Jess the Ripper shrugged, signaling for them to continue, though a cold smirk remained on his lips. Traditional Chinese medicine? Nothing but a swindle!

"See if you recognize this technique," Qin Tian said to Sun Simin with a smile. Sun Simin nodded, focusing intently on Qin Tian's hands to see how he would apply the needles.

"Little brother, watch closely. This is how Chinese medicine saves lives," Qin Tian winked at Jess the Ripper.

*Swish, swish, swish.*

Three needles. With just three needles, Jiao Yumin, who had been unconscious, suddenly let out a gasp. He sat up from the ground, gasping for air as if someone drowning had finally reached the surface.

*Gasps!* The entire room was in an uproar. Three needles were enough to wake a dying patient?

"Where am I..." Jiao Yumin looked around with a confused expression.

"Go home and rest for a month. You’ve been working too hard; your heart can't keep up," Qin Tian said with a smile, patting Jiao Yumin on the shoulder.

"My heart?" Jiao Yumin touched his chest.

"Yes," Qin Tian nodded. Jiao Yumin likely knew his own condition but, for some reason, had never sought treatment. Realizing what had happened, he felt a lingering fear and thanked Qin Tian repeatedly.

"The King of Hell... Turns Around?" Sun Simin asked, his eyes wide with disbelief, his voice trembling.

"Elder Sun, you’ve got a sharp eye!" Qin Tian seemed slightly surprised.

"I didn't see it; I guessed it. There are many needle techniques, but to have an effect this immediate, it can only be 'The King of Hell Turns Around'!"

"Master, is it really 'The King of Hell Turns Around'?" Sun Simin’s breathing quickened.

"It is," Qin Tian nodded with a smile.

*Boom!* Sun Simin felt as if a bomb had gone off in his mind, stirring up a storm. It really was 'The King of Hell Turns Around'! As the name implied, once this technique was used, even the King of Hell would have to turn around and leave, not daring to claim the person's life!

"Master! Teach me!" Sun Simin was beyond excited—so excited that he was trembling all over.

"I'll teach you when we get back. But your foundation is too weak; I'll give you a method, and after two months of study, you might be able to attempt it," Qin Tian patted his shoulder.

"Understood!" Sun Simin nodded repeatedly.

The others were stunned. Calling Sun Simin's foundation weak? Qin Tian was likely the first person in history to say that! Who would dare question the foundations of the legendary physician Sun Simin? They hadn't believed such a thing could happen, but now, they hadn't just heard it—they had witnessed it with their own eyes!

"It's an act! You’re putting on a show! Traditional Chinese medicine can't be that miraculous!" Jess the Ripper roared.

"What's so impossible about it?" Qin Tian countered. "Three thousand years ago, if someone told you the Earth was a sphere, would you have believed them? Yet, facts proved it is a sphere. One thousand years ago, if someone told you humans could fly, would you have believed them? Yet, facts proved we can fly—we've even flown into outer space! Now, if someone tells you that Chinese medicine can bring someone back from the brink of death with a few needles, do you believe it?"

Qin Tian’s barrage of questions left Jess the Ripper dazed.

"I..." Jess the Ripper tried to speak, but Qin Tian cut him off.

"You don't need to answer; I will. You have to believe it! Because you saw it with your own eyes, didn't you?" Qin Tian shrugged, speaking calmly. He hadn't intended to show off, but sometimes, you have no choice but to show them what's what.
