Chapter 149 This Plan is Bubbly with Perfection
“Aiya, I don’t think going together is quite right; we won’t have the freedom to control our own time,” Shen Xiaoqing said.
“But I think it’s great! It feels like all we have to do is lie back and relax—everything is planned out to the last detail,” Jiang Yingying replied.
Qin Tian gasped inwardly. These two girls were really pushing the limits now!
“I’m hungry. Let’s go downstairs to eat,” Shen Xiaoqing suddenly said, clutching her stomach and pouting.
“I don’t want to see that idiot!” Jiang Yingying’s anger flared at the thought of facing Qin Tian, whom she considered a “scoundrel.”
“Oh, don’t mind him. Let’s just eat and pretend he doesn’t exist,” Shen Xiaoqing said.
Jiang Yingying thought about it and agreed—you can’t deprive your stomach, after all. So the two got up, opened the door, and headed downstairs.
Seeing them about to leave, Qin Tian hurried down the stairs, quietly scooped four bowls of rice from the kitchen, and acted as if nothing was amiss.
During the meal, Qin Tian kept sneaking glances at Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing, utterly baffled. How could these two girls be so bold, discussing such topics?
“We’re full now. Later, we’re going shopping. Help us tidy up the room,” Jiang Yingying glanced at Qin Tian coolly and said.
“Isn’t the shopping trip supposed to be in the afternoon?” Qin Tian replied dumbfounded.
“Then you’re not allowed to keep shopping afterward?” Jiang Yingying shot him a sharp look, then pulled the still-eating Shen Xiaoqing upstairs.
Shen Xiaoqing reluctantly hurried through the last bites before being dragged away.
When Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing reappeared, they were both wearing exquisite makeup.
Qin Tian’s heart skipped a beat at the sight.
No way—were these two girls falling into the wrong crowd?
Having overheard their earlier conversation, Qin Tian now feared for them, wondering if some delinquent boys had misled them.
Taking advantage of their distraction, Qin Tian slipped a small button-shaped listening device into their bags before going upstairs to clean.
Tang Bo eagerly offered to help, saying he felt guilty freeloading.
While organizing the bedside table, Qin Tian suddenly spotted a travel magazine featuring a five-day round-trip tour to Bubble Island.
He slapped his forehead, finally realizing what Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing had been discussing!
He silently scolded himself for overthinking.
What a huge misunderstanding! Luckily, he hadn’t confronted the two girls; that would have been quite the comedy.
“Hey, look! What’s that?” Tang Bo suddenly pointed toward the bathroom.
“Not suitable for minors! Let’s get out of here!” Qin Tian quickly covered Tang Bo’s eyes and led him away.
Inside were some personal items belonging to a young girl...
Returning to his room, Qin Tian hesitated before sending Shen Xiaoqing a message explaining the mystery behind those lingerie photos of Mi Xue, emphasizing that the tissues were for his runny nose.
“Hey, look! The macho guy just messaged me!” Shen Xiaoqing waved her phone teasingly in front of Jiang Yingying as they chatted in a café.
Jiang Yingying reached to grab it, but Shen Xiaoqing pulled it back with a sly smile.
“Are you nervous about the macho guy? Afraid someone might steal him away?” Shen Xiaoqing teased.
“What did he say?” Jiang Yingying rolled her eyes.
“He said those lingerie photos of Mi Xue were promotional shots for a brand she endorses. They were supposed to be sent to the company but accidentally ended up with Qin Tian,” Shen Xiaoqing explained.
“Accidentally sent to Qin Tian? Why would she be sending him anything?” Jiang Yingying scoffed.
“Qin Tian also explained that Mi Xue invited us to her concert next week and sent tickets—but accidentally included the photos,” Shen Xiaoqing added.
“Who would believe that?” Jiang Yingying looked annoyed, though secretly relieved.
“So, from the first to the fifth, we’ll be at Bubble Island, then fly straight to Kyoto on the evening of the fifth, and be back in Tongyang by the morning of the seventh. That perfectly fills seven days of vacation!” Shen Xiaoqing suddenly said, smiling brightly.
She thought the plan was simply perfect—getting to travel and attend Mi Xue’s concert. It couldn’t be better!
“I’m not going! I’d rather come back on the fifth evening and stay home! If not Tongyang, I’ll at least go visit my dad in Wu City,” Jiang Yingying said stubbornly.
“Come on, come on!” Shen Xiaoqing tugged at her hand, acting coquettish.
“If you want to go, go. I’m not going,” Jiang Yingying pulled her hand away.
“If you don’t, I’ll tell the macho guy you’re jealous of Mi Xue!” Shen Xiaoqing threatened.
“Don’t say nonsense! I’m not jealous!” Jiang Yingying’s eyes widened.
“Then will you go or not?” Shen Xiaoqing pressed, already opening her chat with Qin Tian.
“No!” Jiang Yingying crossed her arms and turned away, determined not to budge.
“Macho guy, Yingying’s jealous of Mi Xue!” Shen Xiaoqing sent a voice message to Qin Tian.
“Shen Xiaoqing!” Jiang Yingying whipped around, shocked, and tried to snatch the phone.
“Hehe! You can’t have it!” Shen Xiaoqing teased, waving the phone just out of reach despite Jiang Yingying’s best efforts.
“Withdraw it! That’s too much!” Jiang Yingying pleaded.
“Oh no! It’s almost past the three-minute window to recall. So, are you going to Mi Xue’s concert or not?” Shen Xiaoqing grinned.
“I’m going, I’m going!” Jiang Yingying quickly relented.
“That’s better.” Shen Xiaoqing grinned and long-pressed to retract the message.
On the other end, Qin Tian opened the voice message, only to hear Jiang Yingying call “Macho guy” before the message abruptly cut off.
Checking the screen, he saw the message had been withdrawn.
“???” Qin Tian sent three question marks in confusion.
“!!!” Shen Xiaoqing replied with three exclamation marks.
Qin Tian sent four question marks; Shen Xiaoqing responded with four exclamation marks.
Sighing, Qin Tian tossed his phone aside, guessing Shen Xiaoqing was just bored and wanted to tease him.
Lying on his bed, recalling the travel magazine found earlier in Jiang Yingying’s room, Qin Tian realized they planned to use the national holiday for a trip.
He thought it wasn’t a bad idea—he could have Jiang Yingying and Shen Xiaoqing take him along, bring Tang Bo, and maybe even that girl Jiang Qiaoyan.
Return on the night of the fifth, fly directly to Kyoto.
On the sixth, he and Tang Bo would visit the orphanage to see the old director, then attend Mi Xue’s concert in the evening.
Back to Tongyang the morning of the seventh.
Seven days perfectly planned—a flawless itinerary.
What Qin Tian didn’t know was that Shen Xiaoqing’s plan aligned perfectly with his own.
Once he and Shen Xiaoqing formed a united front, this plan was bound to succeed!
