Qin Tian swallowed hard. This was an altitude of ten thousand meters!

Yet the captain of the airplane had just flown past the window! Had he fallen out of the plane?

Qin Tian immediately ran to the crew rest area and hurriedly asked, "Where is the captain?"

The flight attendant who had interacted with Qin Tian the most looked at him in confusion and asked, "Is there something I can help you with, sir?"

"I saw the captain fly past the window outside!" Qin Tian said.

"Sir, I don't understand what you mean. Are you saying our captain is flying outside?" The flight attendant looked at Qin Tian with suspicious eyes.

"Please hurry up and check if the captain is still there." Qin Tian was certain he could not have been mistaken.

"Flight attendant, could you come over here for a moment? We have a situation." However, the flight attendant ignored Qin Tian and instead called over a security officer.

After the security officer arrived, the flight attendant whispered something directly into his ear. Qin Tian saw the security officer's expression change instantly, and the look he gave him became much more vigilant.

"Sir, could you please come with me?" the security officer asked.

"Where to?" Qin Tian asked.

"Sir, please don't move around." As the security officer spoke, he took out a pair of handcuffs.

"Do you people think I'm crazy?" Qin Tian immediately realized what was going on.

Indeed, casually claiming that the captain was flying outside would naturally make anyone think he was out of his mind.

"Sir, please cooperate," the security officer said.

Qin Tian didn't want to cause a scene, so he temporarily left with the security officer, deciding to find a way to reason with him.

The two of them arrived at a small compartment at the tail of the plane, and Qin Tian was locked directly to an iron pole.

"Sir, we will find a doctor for you after we land," the security officer said.

*What the hell?* Qin Tian's eyes widened in disbelief. They really took him for a lunatic?

"Go check if the captain is there! Isn't that just a matter of making a phone call? It's not that much trouble!" Qin Tian said.

The security officer ignored Qin Tian, shook his head, and sat down directly opposite him.

After that, no matter how much Qin Tian talked until his mouth was dry, the security officer remained completely indifferent.

"Oh heavens! Just go check! This is a matter of life and death! There are hundreds of people on this plane, hundreds of families!" Qin Tian shouted until his voice grew hoarse.

The security officer covered his ears and then simply pulled out a pair of earphones to block the sound.

Qin Tian clutched his forehead, truly speechless.

Just then, the plane shuddered again.

"Hit another air pocket. Looks like we'll be delayed for a while longer," the security officer sighed.

"Ah!"

Suddenly, the security officer let out a startled cry as his body was violently lifted from his seat, slamming like a gecko against the side wall.

Qin Tian's body was also thrown to the side, but because he was chained to the iron pole by the handcuffs, he didn't hit the wall.

However, the violent wrenching tore at the skin of his wrists where the handcuffs were fastened, causing him to wince in pain.

"What's going on?" The security officer grabbed an iron pole, his body swinging wildly in mid-air.

"Can't you tell? The plane is in a rapid descent! Something must be wrong with the cockpit!" Qin Tian shouted loudly.

"Hurry up and toss the keys over!" Qin Tian yelled through gritted teeth. At this rate, he felt like his wrists were going to be snapped off!

"The keys are in the back! I can't reach them!" the security officer shouted back, also gritting his teeth.

*Bang!*

Just then, both Qin Tian and the security officer heard a loud explosion, as if something had blown up.

"Turn your damn body around!" Qin Tian yelled at the security officer.

The security officer used every ounce of strength he had to twist his body slightly to the side, exposing the keys hanging from his back waist.

"Are you out of your damn mind? You even lock the keys to your pants with a clasp?" Qin Tian's eyes widened.

"It's regulation! It's mandatory to store the keys this way!" the security officer shouted.

Qin Tian took a deep breath, kicked off his shoes using his feet against each other, and then managed to pull off his socks as well.

Qin Tian looked at the keys hanging behind the security officer's back and steadied his breathing.

It was time to show some real skill!

Qin Tian planted one foot against the security officer's buttocks and slid his other foot into the key ring, attempting to unhook the keys using his big toe and second toe.

As for why he didn't use his hands? He would have to be able to reach them with his hands first! Using his feet was barely enough to touch them; using his hands was completely out of the question!

After exerting supreme effort and scraping the skin off his toes, he finally managed to pry the keys loose. Then, arching his body, Qin Tian brought the keys from his toes up into his hand and successfully unlocked the handcuffs.

*Bang!*

Just then, the plane shuddered violently once more, seeming to stabilize slightly, and both of their bodies dropped back down from the air.

Qin Tian hurriedly put his shoes back on, not even bothering with his socks, and bolted out of the small compartment.

When he rushed out, what met his eyes was absolute chaos!

In the economy class cabin outside the compartment, quite a few people were sprawled haphazardly across the aisles, while many others sat in their seats violently vomiting. Oxygen masks had dropped down everywhere.

Wails and cries filled the air!

"This, this, this..." The security officer ran out and froze at the sight.

"Check if anyone is injured! I'm going to the cockpit to take a look!" Qin Tian told the security officer.

At this moment, the security officer seemed to have lost his backbone; he simply nodded, doing whatever Qin Tian told him to do.

Qin Tian hurried through the economy cabin and entered first class.

Things here were no better than in economy class.

Fortunately, Tang Bao, Jiang Qiaoyan, Jiang Yingying, and Shen Xiaoqing were all unhurt, save for a slight scrape on Tang Bao's arm from protecting Jiang Qiaoyan.

"Big Bro Tough Guy, what's going on? I don't want to die!" Shen Xiaoqing said with tears shimmering in her eyes.

"There must be a problem with the cockpit. I saw the captain flying outside the window earlier, so I guess I wasn't mistaken," Qin Tian said.

"What? The captain flew out the window? This—we're completely, utterly done for!" Hearing Qin Tian's words, Tang Bao's face turned ashen. He never expected that his very first time on a plane would become his last!

"What are we going to do?" Jiang Yingying's face was also plastered with panic and despair.

"It's fine, I'm here." Qin Tian patted his chest.

"The captain is gone, so what the hell good are you, Brother Tian? You don't even know how to fly a plane!" Tang Bao said.

"I don't know how right now, but I will in a moment!" Qin Tian said.

"You'll know how in a moment?" Tang Bao didn't understand what Qin Tian meant.

"I'll learn on the fly!" Qin Tian brandished the book in his hand.

This "Book of Everything" was a grand encyclopedia! It contained everything under the sun, and naturally, it had instructions on how to pilot an airplane!
