Qin Tian walked while flipping through "A Book," finding the section detailing how to pilot an airplane.

It contained all sorts of flying techniques for various aircraft. Qin Tian immediately turned to the passenger plane page and thoroughly absorbed the content.

The explanations within were exceptionally clear and straightforward. Once read, one could practically operate an aircraft immediately!

Do not doubt it—it was truly that miraculous! Otherwise, Old Man Kong would never have handed this book over to Qin Tian.

Qin Tian walked to the lounge area for flight attendants outside the cockpit. Scattered about were various snacks, along with some shattered glass shards, likely from a broken water cup or flask.

As Qin Tian parted the curtain and prepared to step inside, the hairs on his body suddenly stood on end. A sharp intuition warned him that danger was approaching!

Rip!

Just as Qin Tian pulled his hand back, a dagger slashed through the curtain, and the lower half of the curtain drifted slowly to the floor.

Through the unobstructed lower half of the curtain, Qin Tian caught a clear view of the lower half of the person standing opposite him.

It was a flight attendant's uniform!

"There really is a problem, huh?"

Qin Tian narrowed his eyes. When the flight attendant had first served him and he saw her hands, a trace of suspicion had arisen in Qin Tian, which was why he had asked if she had grown up doing farm work.

An ordinary flight attendant could never possess such rough hands!

Moreover, the webbing between the thumb and index finger of this flight attendant's hand bore numerous tiny cuts. Anyone in the know would recognize those as wounds inflicted by a small blade!

This indicated that the person frequently used a knife!

Qin Tian narrowed his eyes and wasted no courtesy, throwing a direct punch right through the remaining half of the curtain.

The "flight attendant" abruptly raised a foot and kicked toward Qin Tian.

Hands are shorter than legs, so Qin Tian naturally wouldn't be foolish enough to trade blows like that. He retracted his punch and immediately took a step back, dodging the "flight attendant's" kick.

"Just what kind of person are you?" Qin Tian demanded in a stern voice.

"The person who is going to take your life!" The flight attendant sneered from behind the curtain.

"Damn it, another assassin? Will you people ever stop?" Qin Tian was instantly speechless.

"Who told you to have such bad luck? Why did you have to follow that kind of master?" The assassin continued to sneer.

Qin Tian frowned slightly. This was the first time he had obtained a shred of useful information from an assassin. It seemed that the assassins coming after him were indeed connected to Old Man Kong!

"Who sent you? What kind of organization are you people in?" Qin Tian demanded further.

"The order given to me from above was either to kill you outright or to capture and drag you back. Actually, I chose to kill you directly because I figured it's much simpler, and you're just as useful dead anyway," the assassin said indifferently.

"So you threw both the captain and the first officer out? And you've controlled all the other flight attendants too? No wonder when I went to pee just now, I felt like there were so few flight attendants, and it was just you!"

Qin Tian suddenly pieced many things together.

"The plane crashes, and I die too. No one in their wildest dreams would ever guess that this was actually an assassination. What a brilliant scheme you've got!"

"Yet there are hundreds of people on this plane. Don't you find it cruel to doom them all?" Qin Tian asked.

"What does that have to do with me? I only care about completing my mission." The assassin seemed to shrug.

Qin Tian narrowed his eyes. The plane was still steadily descending and might crash before long. He had to resolve this assassin quickly and then take control of the aircraft.

"Come on then! I'm ready!" Qin Tian assumed a battle stance.

"What are you ready for?" The assassin paused, startled.

"Aren't you going to rush over and kill me?" Qin Tian was equally startled.

"Are you out of your mind? I've already thrown the captain and the first officer out. Isn't your death on this plane guaranteed? Why on earth would I bother fighting you?"

The assassin ripped aside the remaining half of the curtain and looked at Qin Tian as if viewing an absolute moron.

Qin Tian scratched his ear. It seemed... well, it seemed that really was the case!

"I'm done playing with you. Tomorrow I look forward to reading the news about the plane crash." The assassin grinned, suddenly yanked open a nearby emergency exit door, and leaped straight out.

Braving the fierce wind, Qin Tian reached the emergency exit and watched with his own eyes as the assassin deployed a parachute after jumping, drifting slowly down toward the ground.

Qin Tian saw that from this altitude, the houses below were already clearly visible. It seemed the plane's altitude had dropped very low indeed.

Exerting all his strength, Qin Tian finally managed to pull the emergency door shut, then rushed into the cockpit.

"Mmph! Mmph! Mmph!"

As soon as Qin Tian entered the cockpit, he froze. The flight crew members had all their hands and feet bound and had been tossed into the cockpit.

However, the captain and the first officer were nowhere to be found. It appeared Qin Tian hadn't been mistaken—those two unlucky fellows had indeed been thrown out.

Qin Tian felt a tiny twinge of sorrow; after all, they had died because of him.

Qin Tian immediately untied the crew members and instructed them to go comfort the passengers and prevent panic in the back.

"The captain and first officer are gone! How are we supposed to land the plane? Are we all going to die?" a flight attendant asked with a terrified expression on her face.

"Don't worry, with me here, your only job is to go comfort the passengers." With that, Qin Tian sat straight down in the pilot's seat.

"You? You know how to fly a plane?" Flight attendant Ye Xiaoxiao widened her eyes in disbelief.

"Of course. Whether it's piloting planes or beating planes, I'm an expert at both!" Qin Tian declared.

Hearing those specific words, flight attendant Ye Xiaoxiao's cheeks instantly flushed crimson.

"Let me tell you, my Lightning plane-beating ranking is in the top three nationwide!" Qin Tian said with an air of arrogance.

"Ah?" Ye Xiaoxiao was momentarily stunned, and then her cheeks grew even redder. So she had been thinking in the gutter...

Flustered, Ye Xiaoxiao hurriedly fled the cockpit.

"Let me help you. I've studied some aviation knowledge," the chief flight attendant told Qin Tian.

"Alright, then you take the co-pilot seat." Qin Tian nodded. He genuinely needed someone to assist him.

Qin Tian looked over the complex array of electronic buttons, studying them for a long time before correlating them with the buttons shown in the book.

Qin Tian pressed this button, pressed that button, and then pressed that other button as well.

The chief flight attendant widened her eyes, feeling that Qin Tian's sequence of operations was utterly reckless and chaotic!

"Are you certain you're going to fly the plane shortly?" The chief flight attendant swallowed hard.

"I am! I've just never seen these particular buttons before, so I'm pressing them to test them out," Qin Tian said with an apologetic expression.

"..." The chief flight attendant was instantly speechless, thinking to herself that he must believe this was a video game. Could buttons on an airplane—especially in the cockpit—be pressed at random?

"Hey, hey, hey, you can't fly like that!"

"Ah! You mustn't touch that button!"

"No, no, no! This is going to cause a disaster!"

Qin Tian's arbitrary string of operations almost frightened the chief flight attendant to tears.

Yet, regardless of the process, Qin Tian ultimately landed the plane smoothly, and furthermore, landed it right at their destination, Bubble Island!

Even more "outrageously," Qin Tian arrived two hours ahead of schedule!

If there were aerial traffic police, they might have suspected Qin Tian of speeding and issued him a few tickets.
