After strolling around for a while, Qin Tian began to feel a bit bored. This place was just so-so. Compared to Wu City and Tongyang City, it had nothing particularly special about it, offering only a fleeting sense of novelty at the very beginning.

Once you get used to it, the people are still the same people, and the streets are still the same streets. Elements like streets, houses, and people combine to form the same kind of city—what is so fascinating about that?

Having traveled far and wide over the years, what kind of bizarre stories and strange sights hadn't Qin Tian witnessed?

Qin Tian rubbed his belly, glanced at his watch, and saw that it was already past ten o'clock. This was his body's biological clock reminding him that it was time for a late-night snack.

Qin Tian looked around, intending to find a place to grab a bite, and finally set his sights on a midnight snack restaurant called "Bubble Hall."

Judging by the lively crowd inside, the place seemed quite good.

"How many people, sir?" Even though it was busy inside, the greeter didn't lose her manners. Seeing Qin Tian enter, she immediately stepped forward and asked with a smile.

"Just one," Qin Tian said, holding up a single finger.

"Then sir, you'll have to wait a moment. The remaining tables are all large ones, and you'll have to queue for a small table," the waitress said.

"Alright, no problem." Qin Tian nodded, then took a number for a small table. There were still two groups ahead of him in line.

Qin Tian casually found a stool outside, sat down, and started fiddling with his phone.

Not long after, Qin Tian raised his head in confusion. He seemed to hear some commotion inside the restaurant, and at the same time, he saw quite a few people running out.

"What's going on?" Qin Tian stood up out of curiosity and walked closer to the entrance to look inside.

He saw that a table had been overturned. The copper hot pot, the soup broth, and countless shards of broken ceramic bowls were scattered all over the floor.

Qin Tian frowned slightly. That table wasn't the traditional wooden kind with square structures; instead, it was made of thick steel and marble, weighing over a hundred pounds. For an ordinary person, tipping it over so easily was no simple feat.

"You can slander me, but you slander my son? You're utterly ridiculous! Where is your manager? Tell your manager to come out and see me!"

A burly man wearing a floral shirt, oversized shorts, and flip-flops was glaring angrily at a waitress.

That waitress was none other than the one who had just given Qin Tian his queue number.

Looking at the man in front of her, Chen Sisi panicked instantly. Overwhelmed with anxiety, tears welled up directly in her eyes.

"Crying, crying, crying! What are you crying for? You're the one who started it, and yet you're still crying?" the man scolded.

Qin Tian frowned slightly. No matter what, the person on the other side was at least a young woman; couldn't he use a gentler tone?

"Sir, I'm sorry, what is going on here?" At that moment, the restaurant manager also ran over, apologizing to the customer right away regardless of right or wrong.

"What's going on? Ask her!" the man said, pointing at Chen Sisi.

"What happened?" The restaurant manager immediately glared at Chen Sisi.

"His son touched me," Chen Sisi said.

The restaurant manager paused for a moment, then asked, "Where did he touch you? The back of your hand?"

The restaurant manager had encountered similar situations before. When serving dishes, waitstaff had a very slim chance of being harassed by low-class customers taking the opportunity to brush against the back of their hands.

Sometimes it genuinely was an accident, and other times it was completely deliberate.

"No," Chen Sisi shook her head.

"Then where?" the manager asked.

"My... my butt," Chen Sisi said after a brief hesitation.

The restaurant manager froze once again. Touching a butt went a bit too far!

"Sir, your behavior seems rather inappropriate, don't you think?" the restaurant manager said.

"My behavior is inappropriate? Ha! She pushed my son, and I haven't even settled accounts with her yet—are you planning to lay a hand on me?" The man said as he rolled up his sleeves.

The corners of the restaurant manager's mouth twitched. Exactly who was trying to lay a hand on whom here?

"Besides, my son is so young and doesn't know any better. Touching her was just out of curiosity, not on purpose," the man continued.

The restaurant manager glanced behind the man and saw a "young boy" with a aggrieved pout, burying his face in his mother's embrace.

The restaurant manager swallowed hard. You call this young? He honestly looked like he was fifteen, sixteen, or seventeen years old!

He even had a mustache growing on his upper lip! And you're telling me he's still a kid?

"Is he your only son?" The restaurant manager wondered if this family of four might have a younger son as well.

"What do you mean? I only have one son!" The man glared at the restaurant manager.

"And you call this son of yours young?" The restaurant manager's tone turned stern. They couldn't just keep backing down and playing submissive, could they? After all, judging by this situation, they were in the right.

Qin Tian found it quite amusing. No matter how old children grow, in the eyes of their parents, they are always just babies.

Qin Tian felt a trace of envy. If his own parents were around to accompany him, could he boldly walk into the women's bathhouse too? After all, his parents would just make excuses for him, saying he was still just a baby!

Qin Tian had originally planned to leave, seeing as his late-night snack was clearly ruined.

However, unexpected twists always seem to happen at the turning point.

The man picked up a bowl of spicy soup from the adjacent table and hurled it directly at the restaurant manager and Chen Sisi.

The soup landed accurately on the two of them, but because the chili oil made the bowl slippery, the soup bowl flew right out of the man's grip and slammed squarely onto the top of Qin Tian's head.

Qin Tian's face darkened instantly. He had suffered an unprovoked disaster out of nowhere!

Yet Qin Tian couldn't really blame anyone else; he was the one who had insisted on coming over to watch the commotion, so he supposed he had brought it upon himself.

"What an idiot, standing there watching the show," the man sneered sarcastically at Qin Tian.

Qin Tian, who hadn't taken the matter to heart and was planning to leave, immediately lost his temper upon hearing those words. Even if he could blame himself for getting involved, the other person swearing at him crossed the line, didn't it?

"Didn't your father teach you how to behave in society? Is that why you raised such a worthless piece of trash who doesn't know how to act either?" Qin Tian pointed first at the man, and then at the man's child.

Since the other party was already hurling insults, Qin Tian saw no need to be polite.

"You little bastard, what did you say?" The man flew into a blind rage.

"You know how to get angry? Did you ever stop to think whether other people would get angry when you hurled abuses at them?" Qin Tian sneered.

"You're courting death!"

The man actually picked up the food-service cart and hurled it directly at Qin Tian.

Qin Tian frowned. Resorting to physical violence over a mere disagreement? The guy had a terribly vicious temper!

Bang!

Qin Tian sidestepped out of the way, and the cart crashed straight into the doorframe, cracking a piece of it off.

Qin Tian glanced at the fractured doorframe, his gaze turning cold.

"Since your parents failed to teach you how to act like a human being, let me teach you instead!" Qin Tian strode forward with imposing, tiger-like steps.

Seeing this, the restaurant manager and Chen Sisi were so terrified that they scrambled backward to hide.
