It was simply unbelievable. Jiang Tianxiang’s legs, which had once been nothing more than a mangled mess of flesh and blood, now truly looked as if they had been reborn! As the blood scab was completely peeled away, a pair of intact thighs appeared before everyone once more.

“This… this… this is a miracle!” Zhou Yuming’s eyes widened in astonishment—this utterly defied all scientific explanation! Even if they could be healed, how could it possibly have happened so quickly? Legs that had been utterly ruined were restored anew!

“How could this be possible?” Zheng Zhichao nearly had his eyes pop out of his head in shock.

Looking toward Qin Tian, Zheng Zhichao suddenly felt a pang of regret. Why had he ever offended such a remarkable figure? What vexed him even more was that just a few hours ago, he had witnessed Sun Simin express the utmost admiration for Qin Tian, and yet, he had still chosen to make an enemy of him. Was he out of his mind?

He realized that someone of Qin Tian’s caliber was bound to make a name for himself in the medical world! Since the position of director was out of reach anyway, wouldn’t it be better to curry favor with this genius? Perhaps he would have an opportunity to rise to prominence in the future! At the very least, befriending Qin Tian and Sun Simin would be beneficial—after all, Sun Simin was already a renowned master physician.

“It’s over, everyone, disperse! This was a misunderstanding. I just made a call to verify—Qin Tian is certified.” Zheng Zhichao blocked several policemen behind him.

Zhou Yuming rolled his eyes at Zheng Zhichao’s back, thinking to himself: Does it really matter whether Qin Tian is certified or not? Even Master Sun vouched for him—who would still care about a certificate?

Still, Zhou Yuming was even more amazed by Qin Tian’s abilities.

“Um, may I ask… how did you do it?” Zhou Yuming mustered the nerve to inquire. After all, something so miraculous surely concealed a great secret, and Qin Tian might not be willing to share it.

“Oh, that’s not something the average person can learn. It’s simply the regeneration of flesh and blood—I can’t explain it in a short while.” Qin Tian’s reply instantly dampened Zhou Yuming’s hopes. As expected, Qin Tian was unwilling to divulge his methods; and rightly so, for such otherworldly skills bordered on the miraculous. Keeping such abilities close was tantamount to an endless source of fortune.

“However, if you wish to learn, I can teach you. It all depends on whether you have the aptitude.” Qin Tian added.

Zhou Yuming was taken aback, then overjoyed—Qin Tian was actually willing to teach him?

“You… you really mean it?” Zhou Yuming asked, lips trembling.

“Of course. Why not?” Qin Tian replied.

“After all, if you master this, you’ll be able to save even more lives in the future,” he continued.

“Aren’t you worried that your apprentice might surpass the master? If I master this technique, what if everyone comes to me for treatment instead?” Zhou Yuming probed.

“Not at all.” Qin Tian smiled with quiet confidence.

“To me, being a doctor is just a side pursuit—something I do for fun. Besides, this isn’t the only thing I know.” He chuckled.

Zhou Yuming’s face fell, but thinking about it, it made sense. Someone as astonishing as Qin Tian was bound to possess other unfathomable skills.

“Director Zhou, the patient’s vital signs are all stable,” several doctors reported after checking.

Zhou Yuming nodded with a smile—there was no need for further confirmation. Qin Tian had truly healed Jiang Tianxiang!

“By the way, I’ll still need your help with the surgery later to implant the artificial bone. The regeneration only restored the flesh—the bone cannot be recreated,” Qin Tian said.

“Oh?” Zhou Yuming, puzzled, went to the bedside, put on gloves, and pressed down on Jiang Tianxiang’s thigh.

Sure enough, it was soft, like pressing on rubber—there was indeed no femur in Jiang Tianxiang’s thigh!

“That’s easy. We’ll do a matching procedure and, once the artificial bone is ready, we’ll implant it for him,” Zhou Yuming replied.

“Very well, I’ll leave things here in your hands,” Qin Tian said.

“Stay here and watch over Uncle Jiang. I’ll go check on Yingying,” he turned to Shen Xiaoqing.

“Go ahead.” Shen Xiaoqing nodded. She, too, had been awestruck by Qin Tian’s miraculous skills.

She placed a hand on her chest. What was happening to her? She found herself drawn to Qin Tian.

“Qin Tian—Divine Doctor Qin—you haven’t had lunch yet, have you? How about we eat together?” As Qin Tian left the ward, Zheng Zhichao hurried after him, blocking his way with a sycophantic smile.

“Then go buy four boxed lunches.” Qin Tian understood people like Zheng Zhichao. If you didn’t accept their gestures of goodwill, they would pester you endlessly; it was better to accept and deal with him straightforwardly.

“Just boxed lunches?” Zheng Zhichao had been thinking of booking a lavish meal at a hotel.

“We don’t have time for that. If you don’t want to buy, forget it—I’ll get my own later,” Qin Tian replied.

“I’ll buy them right away!” Zheng Zhichao dashed off at once.

Watching Zheng Zhichao’s portly figure scurry off like a rolling ball, Qin Tian couldn’t help but laugh.

“A man in his forties—life hasn’t been easy for him. One shouldn’t reject a smiling face. Since he wants to ingratiate himself, I’ll help him out if I get the chance,” Qin Tian murmured, watching Zheng Zhichao’s departing back.

There was really no deep-seated hatred between them, so there was no need to treat Zheng Zhichao as a mortal enemy. Since he wished to reconcile, Qin Tian was willing to grant it.

As Qin Tian approached the entrance to Jiang Yingying’s ward, he suddenly saw a strange man walk out.

Qin Tian was puzzled—was he a new patient’s family member? This wasn’t a single-patient room, but one with three beds, so Qin Tian assumed the man was a newcomer’s relative.

The stranger met Qin Tian’s gaze, quickly looked away, and hurried off.

“Suspicious,” Qin Tian muttered, then his expression changed and he rushed into the ward.

Inside, there was no new patient—only Jiang Yingying lay on the bed.

“Damn!” Qin Tian cursed inwardly, immediately checking Jiang Yingying’s condition.

First, he took her pulse and found it steady. Then he gently opened her outer garment to check—no external injuries. As for her undergarments, it was inappropriate for him to examine further. Although a healer should be compassionate, there were still boundaries.

“Thank goodness, she’s fine, and her clothes are intact—no sign of tampering,” Qin Tian breathed a sigh of relief.

“But what was that stranger doing here? Did he come to the wrong room?” Qin Tian frowned.

“No, that can’t be! His evasive eyes were filled with guilt—he must have been up to no good.”

At that thought, Qin Tian immediately rushed out of the hospital, hoping to catch another glimpse of the mysterious man.
