Qin Tian rushed out of the hospital building and stood at the entrance, scanning the surroundings, but the mysterious man was nowhere to be seen. A pang of regret struck him—he should have chased after the stranger the moment he sensed something was off.
Shaking his head with a sigh, Qin Tian returned to the ward. When he entered, he found Jiang Yingying sitting on the bed, glaring at him with a murderous look in her eyes.
"Did you touch my clothes?" she demanded.
"Uh, I just checked your body," Qin Tian replied honestly.
"Checked me? By undressing me? Who gave you permission to check me?" Jiang Yingying wrapped her arms around herself and shouted at him.
"There was a strange man who just left your room. I was worried he might have done something to you, so I checked to make sure you were okay," Qin Tian explained quickly. "Don't worry, I only removed your outer garment. I didn't touch anything underneath."
"So after the outer garment, only my underwear was left. Did you intend to take that off too? What a scoundrel! Pervert! Making up stories about a mysterious man!" Her face was full of anger as she glared at him.
In truth, when Qin Tian was checking her, she had already regained some consciousness and realized it was him. As for his story about a mysterious man, she hadn’t seen anyone at all.
