“This is the guy? Just a petty nobody, and he reduced you all to such a sorry state?”

Inside the presidential suite of the Red Sky Hotel, a young man held a photograph in his hand, frowning slightly. The man in the photo was none other than Qin Tian.

Standing before the young man were Tang Yiliu, Huang Qihu, Jiang Zhengye, and several others, all bowing and scraping, trying to curry favor.

“Yes, Young Master Dang, that kid has the Griffin family backing him, so we…” Tang Yiliu said awkwardly as he looked at the young man before him.

Qiu Yindang, nephew of Qiu Lang—one of the Four Dragons of the capital—had his formidable uncle behind him. Few dared cross him.

“The Griffin family? What’s that supposed to be? My uncle is one of the Four Dragons of the capital!” Qiu Yindang scoffed dismissively.

Tang Yiliu and the others exchanged glances. As expected, Qiu Yindang was a fool who didn’t take the Griffin family seriously.

But that was exactly what they wanted. They hoped to use Qiu Yindang to test Qin Tian, to see if the Griffin family would really step forward if Qin Tian was bullied.

Tang Yiliu suspected that the apparent camaraderie between Qin Tian and Wade Griffin was merely a fleeting gesture, that Wade Griffin was only temporarily backing Qin Tian for the sake of appearances.

To confirm this, they needed someone to test the waters.

Coincidentally, the foolish Qiu Yindang had come knocking at just the right time.

Qiu Yindang had come to Wu City to pursue a certain starlet. She had come to Wu City for work, and he had followed after her.

“Don’t worry, as soon as that brat shows up, I guarantee I’ll put him in his place!” Qiu Yindang declared.

“Of course, Young Master Dang, you’re a prominent figure in the capital! Some clown who popped up out of nowhere couldn’t possibly compete with you, not even with one hand tied behind your back!” Tang Yiliu flattered with a fawning nod.

“By the way, have you found out where Michelle is staying?” Qiu Yindang asked.

“Yes, we have. She’s staying at the Imperial Hotel,” Tang Yiliu replied.

“The Imperial Hotel? Jiang, isn’t that your turf?” Qiu Yindang looked at Jiang Zhengye, his mind already plotting. Since it was a friend’s domain, it might be possible to pull some strings.

He had been chasing Michelle for three whole months! Yet that infuriating woman acted as if she were some holy maiden. He’d spent over ten million on gifts, all of which had been returned. He hadn’t even touched her hand!

Whenever Young Master Dang made a move, what woman hadn’t yielded to him in the end?

But Michelle was different. The more unattainable she was, the more he wanted her. The thrill would be unparalleled the moment he finally got her.

Jiang Zhengye hesitated, as if wanting to say something.

“What is it?” Qiu Yindang asked, puzzled.

“The Imperial Hotel used to be mine, but now Qin Tian has taken it over,” Jiang Zhengye said, drawing a deep breath.

“Him again? Look at you all, how useless you’ve become! You let an entire hotel slip away!” Qiu Yindang frowned, adopting a lecturing tone.

Jiang Zhengye and the others seethed inwardly. If it weren’t for his powerful uncle, would he dare to act so high and mighty?

“Yes, yes, exactly. That’s why only you, Young Master Dang, can put him in his place,” Jiang Zhengye said, maintaining a humble and receptive demeanor despite his resentment.

“Fine, since this is connected to my lovely Michelle, I certainly won’t stand by. So what if he has the so-called Griffin family behind him? Are they stronger than my uncle? Watch me crush them!” Qiu Yindang declared arrogantly.

Just then, he noticed a female attendant passing by the door. She was rather pretty, and with thoughts of Michelle’s maddeningly perfect figure still lingering in his mind, a wicked desire stirred in him.

The corner of Qiu Yindang’s mouth curled up as he murmured, “To catch my eye is your good fortune.”

With that, he turned and strode out, hurrying after the attendant who hadn’t gotten far.

“Do you think there’ll be trouble?” Huang Qihu asked with a frown.

“Trouble? He’s only after a woman. With the Qiu family’s influence, it’ll be fine,” Tang Yiliu replied.

“No, no, I’m not talking about that. I mean having Qiu Yindang go after Qin Tian,” Huang Qihu clarified, shaking his head.

“Oh, I thought you were worried about him going after that waitress.”

“There shouldn’t be a problem with Qiu Yindang taking on Qin Tian,” Tang Yiliu said.

“But what if Qiu Lang finds out we used his nephew to test Qin Tian? Will he come after us?” Huang Qihu remained uneasy.

“Didn’t Qiu Yindang just say himself that he’s here for the superstar Michelle? Michelle is staying at Qin Tian’s hotel, so if there’s a conflict between the two, it all seems quite natural, doesn’t it?” Tang Yiliu said, a sly smile playing on his lips.

“You’re right,” Huang Qihu said after a brief pause, then broke into a grin. Now they had a perfect excuse. Even if Qiu Lang got wind of things, he couldn’t blame them.

“Ah! Help!”

At that moment, the scream of the female attendant pierced the air outside. Tang Yiliu and the others exchanged glances, their faces expressionless at first, then bursting into hearty laughter. That lecher will never amount to anything!

“Hmm? Did someone just scream for help?” Qin Tian frowned. He had just managed to slip away from Nangong Xiao'e, Jiang Yingying, and Shen Xiaoqing. After asking around for Tang Yiliu’s whereabouts, he’d come up to the top floor.

Qin Tian wanted to discuss the matter of the Royal Circus under his management with Tang Yiliu. The tiger was still trapped in the Royal Circus, and Qin Tian wasn’t planning to rescue it just yet. He thought he’d give Tang Yiliu a heads-up and have them take good care of the tiger.

Thanks to the Griffin family, Tang Yiliu now treated him like a grandchild would his elder, so this minor favor should be easy to arrange.

Though using borrowed power might not be the most honorable thing, sometimes you had to play hardball with people like Tang Yiliu.

Still some distance from the presidential suite, Qin Tian heard a cry for help, followed by the sight of a high-heeled foot disappearing into a guest room.

It looked as though a woman was being forcibly dragged inside!

As a good citizen, how could Qin Tian stand by and watch such a thing in broad daylight?

Of course he couldn’t!

Without a second thought, he dashed forward, and just as the door to the guest room was about to close, he kicked it open with force.

Qiu Yindang, who had just dragged the female attendant onto the bed and was about to force himself on her, was startled and tumbled off the bed.

“What the hell! Who the fuck are you? You’ve scared my little brother!” Qiu Yindang scrambled to his feet, glaring at Qin Tian in a mix of shock and rage.
