Yun Tianxin, carried on Chen Qi's back, paid no heed to his complicated thoughts. Exhausted from biting, she finally let go of his neck, leaving it covered in glistening saliva.

Suddenly, she tilted her head with a playful curiosity, having spotted something else that caught her fancy.

The afternoon sun bathed Chen Qi, illuminating him completely as he stood atop a high ridge. Gazing toward the direction of the Yunhai Sect, he was entirely unaware of the impending danger.

Yun Tianxin leaned in close, her delicate lips suddenly latching onto a lock of Chen Qi’s hair. With no concept of restraint, she bit down and yanked, pulling the hair out by the root.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch!"

Even though Chen Qi had been prepared for her biting, he had not yet reached the level of circulating blood energy through every single strand of hair, and his defenses had been focused solely on his neck. Caught off guard, the pain of hair being ripped out by the roots hit him, leaving a large bald patch on the back of his head.

"Hee hee hee."

With a tuft of black hair still hanging from her lips, Yun Tianxin stared at the pained Chen Qi, a crafty smile on her face.

Seeing her smile, Chen Qi offered a bitter laugh; he couldn't bring himself to be angry. If it were a typical brat—or even his own future child—daring to pull such a stunt on him, he would have made them cry. After all, Chen Qi prided himself on being someone who respected his elders and cared for the young. But with this woman? Sigh, let’s not even go there.

Having succeeded, Yun Tianxin spat out the hair in a few quick motions and tilted her head again, clearly wanting another bite.

Chen Qi, now sporting a large bald spot and hair that looked like it had been chewed on by a dog after the previous battle, was naturally more protective of what remained. He began shaking his head back and forth to dodge, guarding his remaining hair volume.

After several failed attempts, Yun Tianxin grew impatient. She wore an expression of beast-like fury, her dainty nose puffing with rapid breaths, looking as if she would not stop until she got another bite.

Chen Qi’s bitter smile deepened, then hardened into a look of resolve. He made a decision. It wasn't that he was being unkind; it was that his Senior Sister had started this.

Feeling a strange sense of satisfaction, Chen Qi shifted her position, carrying her upside down on his back. Her long, fair, slender legs rested on his shoulders, while her head hung down, level with his waist.

With every step Chen Qi took, her body swayed. She tried to lunge her head forward, but could reach nothing, leaving her pretty face flushed with frustration.

"Heh heh heh!"

Chen Qi smirked and began a slow descent down the mountain. Instead of rushing toward the Yunhai Sect, he took his time, as if searching for something.

Twenty minutes later, he stopped in front of a small cave.

Chen Qi coughed awkwardly and, feigning a serious tone, explained to the upside-down Yun Tianxin, "Junior Brother feels the journey today is a bit risky. Why don't we make do and rest here for the night?"

The irrational Yun Tianxin gave no response, merely venting her anger by bumping her face against his waist.

"Ah, Senior Sister’s massage is truly comfortable," a stray lascivious thought crossed Chen Qi’s mind, and his right hand couldn't help but climb
