While Ren Boyuan was still puzzled, Chu Xiao introduced the visitors one by one, subtly making it clear to Ren that these were prominent figures from the three major nations.

After the introductions, Ren Boyuan led them on a tour of the research laboratory, explaining the concepts and underlying principles of the new weaponry. He was not worried about leaking secrets; he knew that without the core technology, knowing the design concepts alone would not allow them to replicate the results.

After the tour, the representatives from the three nations showered Ren Boyuan with praise, hailing him as a rare and exceptional talent.

"The greatest credit goes to Lieutenant General Chu," Ren Boyuan replied. "Without him, we could never have developed this. He sourced the vital raw materials; we merely provided the concepts."

Upon hearing this, the representatives gained a new appreciation for Chu Xiao, realizing that he was not only a formidable warrior but also possessed profound expertise in weapons development.

They all praised the nation of Jiuzhou for producing such talents as Ren Boyuan and Chu Xiao, calling them a blessing to humanity. However, these were merely empty flatteries; each representative harbored their own agenda, secretly desiring to bring this technology back to their own countries.

After the visit, Chu Xiao escorted the representatives back to Pearl City and called Wang Lulu to prepare a meal. Two hours later, they arrived at the villa. Upon entering, the representatives caught sight of Wang Lulu.

"Lieutenant General Chu, is this your wife? She is as beautiful as she is virtuous!"

As soon as they entered, Wang Lulu brought out slippers for them. The representatives were astonished, as they had heard that women in Jiuzhou were fiercely militant. Seeing Wang Lulu’s grace seemed to dispel those notions entirely.

"Please, come in, guests. The meal is ready, please take your seats," Wang Lulu said with a gentle tone. After the meal, the representatives were full of praise, noting that the food perfectly suited their tastes.

After dinner, Chu Xiao arranged for the three to stay at the villa, as it would be more convenient to discuss matters. Although Wang Lulu was somewhat dissatisfied with this arrangement, she kept her thoughts to herself.

The next morning, after breakfast, Chu Xiao took the trio on a tour of Pearl City. Although the city's defense systems and the soldiers' equipment were not quite on par with Yanjing—which was, after all, where the supreme leader resided—it was still enough to shock them.

"Congratulations on your promotion to Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Chu!"

At that moment, General Wang Tao walked toward them. He had been inspecting the defenses of Pearl City for any damage and had not expected to run into Chu Xiao.

"General Wang Tao, please, stop teasing me. You know what kind of person I am. These are the representatives sent by the three nations; this is General Wang Tao."

Chu Xiao introduced them briefly. Though they had never met, they were well aware of each other’s reputations, as these were all legendary figures. After exchanging greetings, Wang Tao took them on a tour, knowing that as future collaborators, it was important to maintain a good relationship.

Wang Tao led the group to the conference room to discuss coordinated operations. They had barely sat down when Erwin from Beisha received news that the Pluto was launching a massive assault on Beisha and was requesting support from the other three nations.

Erwin briefed Chu Xiao on the situation. Chu Xiao was puzzled; Pluto typically only targeted Jiuzhou and the United States, the two strongest nations. Why would it suddenly change course to attack Beisha?

Beisha was located in a remote area, and even if they dispatched reinforcements immediately, it might be too late. The group grew anxious.

"I have an idea!" After a long period of contemplation, Chu Xiao suddenly slapped his forehead. Everyone looked on in confusion.

"Lieutenant General Chu, please don't keep us in suspense. Tell us your plan!" Erwin, pacing like an ant on a hot pan, urged him to speak so they could deliberate.

"Beisha is remote; if we wait to send reinforcements, it will likely be too late. If we encounter Pluto's robot blockades on the way, Beisha will be lost by the time we arrive. Instead, why don't we attack Pluto's base directly?"

The group agreed that the plan was feasible; if they could not provide direct support, they could force Pluto to retreat. Only Mu Keyan of the United States was reluctant, but seeing the others in agreement, she remained silent.

"Each of our three nations will contribute one thousand troops to attack Pluto's base. We will catch them off guard!"

Chu Xiao’s strategy was inspired by the ancient art of "besieging Wei to rescue Zhao." With no further objections, he ordered Wang Tao to select one thousand soldiers for the departure.

The others contacted their respective troops. Soon, they gathered at the training ground, where the soldiers were already assembled and ready to mobilize at a moment's notice.

After briefly outlining the mission, Chu Xiao ordered the troops to depart, while he rode in a separate vehicle with the three representatives.

"Commander-in-Chief, don't you think Pluto’s actions this time are unusual? What if this is a trap, and the attack on Beisha is just a ruse to lure us out?" Mu Keyan of the United States could no longer contain herself. She had never wanted to send reinforcements, and her words drew immediate ire from Beisha.

"It is not your United States that is being attacked. If you don't want to help, fine, but when the day comes that the United States is attacked by Pluto, we in Beisha will be the first to oppose supporting you!"

"Exactly. Are you trying to sow discord in the alliance and disregard the Commander-in-Chief's orders?"

Erwin and Del retorted, leaving Mu Keyan unable to respond. She knew it was not the time to alienate them.

"That possibility exists, but even if it is a trap, we must go. We cannot stand by and watch Beisha be destroyed by Pluto," Chu Xiao said, stepping in to mediate. He had long hoped for a four-nation alliance and did not want them to turn on each other so soon.

"The Commander-in-Chief is right. If anyone tries to take advantage of this situation, Beisha, small and weak as we may be, will spare nothing to make them pay," Erwin declared, aimed squarely at Mu Keyan. While the U.S. usually looked down on Beisha, they knew that if a real fight broke out, the U.S. would not come away unscathed.

Though Beisha’s strength did not match the other nations, their soldiers were exceptionally brave and possessed a spirit of self-sacrifice, which was why they stood out among the many smaller nations.

"Shortly, we will lead our respective teams and launch attacks on Pluto from three different directions simultaneously!"

Chu Xiao drew a signal flare gun from his waist and handed it to Erwin. He instructed him that if Pluto began to retreat, he was to fire the signal immediately; they were not to get bogged down in battle and were to withdraw at once.

Pluto’s mechanical army moved with great speed. If they were to be surrounded by these machines, it would be difficult to break out, and if they did, the casualties would be heavy.
